He needed to add but one little word to what God had already pronounced, "Ye shall surely die.." [Most still believe this today as in die and go to Heaven right now, that's not Biblical]

Genesis 2:17. "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Note: God's word may have still reverberated in the Eden when Satan said this....

Genesis 3:4. "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"

Note: See? One small and little word, changed the whole meaning! Please place this idea on your memory shelf.

IT WAS HERE... that it was decided that ALL the Protestant Churches may remain in their condition, and have Salvation, IF. . . and only if, they accepted and acknowledges the Supremacy of the Universal/Catholic Church, and the Bishop of Rome, the Pope!

NOTE:  Silly me, here I read that Christ purchased our Salvation by His life and His Blood! Here men say its by the Catholic church only? Some BODY is not speaking truth , agree?

After the Vatican 2, it was the Jesuit head Karl Rahmer was commissioned to take this message to the world, via the largest single Secret Organization, the Sottish Rite Freemasonry. One of the main proponents for this was a Paul F. Knitter..

"NO OTHER NAME?" his book. " A critical Survey of Christian Attitudes Toward the World Religion"
Paul Knitter, served as a Divine Word missionary before assigning a position at Xavier University, Cincinnati, where he is presently a Professor of Theology. He received the Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University i Rome, and studies under Karl Rahmer, before earning a Doctorate in Theology at the University of Marburg, West Germany. {The first Roman catholic to do so} For the past 15 years his main interest has been the Christian dialogue with other religions, especially those in the East. His previous publications, include "Towards a Protestant Theology of Religions.

Leonard Swidler wrote in the Journal of Ecumenical Studies- about Paul Knitter:

"Paul Knitter faces honestly the conundrum of what the committed Christian believers does theologically in the face of the growing evidence, scholarly and from a personal encounter, that there are other ways, religious ways, of leading a full, authentic human life, than the Christian way. Call a person "Saved" that is, come to live a truly human life, by some other name that that of Jesus Christ? Knitter's answer is one can be "Saved" by "Some other name", and he then proceeds to show how this affirmation can be acquired theologically with full Christian commitment."
     "This is a first rate creative theology, it is theology done the only way it can be done: In dialogue with other world religions and with one's own Christian tradition.  It is also written to serve as a college textbook, and succeeds in this admirably. At the same time, the theologians should not shun the book. They will find it very enlightening, if not downright revolutionary."

NOTE: "This is first rate creative Theology" {This is the ONLY sentence I agree with" }{But this idea is not BIBLICAL}

NOTE: "SAVED" can one be saved by one leading a "Authentic Human Life"?  Is that Biblical yes or NO?
Yet his book ""NO OTHER NAME" is virtually standard issue in all seminary courses! So how do they explain this verses...?

John 10:9. "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

John 14:" Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Acts 4:12."Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

1 Timothy 2:5. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; "

Note: As oft noted, never TAKE,  the word (s) for men/man for the word of God, learn that for self! By the way, just what does the  1Timothy 2:5 verse say about asking for forgiveness, from a priest, or through Mary, as Rome insist that ALL so do?

{S.P.U.C.,  Spiritus Domini, 16 April, 1970}: "The spirit of the Lord is at work in the present-day ecumenical movement in order that, where the obstacles hindering perfect ecclesiastical communion have been surmounted, the unity of all Christians may at last be restored and shine forth, for all peoples are called to be a single new people, confessing one Jesus, Savior and Lord, professing one faith, celebrating one Eucharistic mysteries.      continued below.

NOTE:  How can any Bible following Christian follow this NON_BIBLICAL teachings of:
1. Praying to a Woman, of whom the Bible says nothing, nada, ZERO about her resurrection, thus she is still entombed along with other saints!

2. They who have taken a Common day Sun-Day, and claimed it to be Holy, but take a Holy Day the Biblical Sabbath, and made a Common day! The Seventh Day is the Sabbath, Sun-day is the day of Pagan Sun worship the First day of the week! Exodus 20:8-11 and Genesis 1 and 2:1-3! [Look up the word Sunday in any large dictionary!] CONT: #3.

THE CHURCHES COMMENT:

BAPTIST: "There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday...It will be said however, and with some triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week... Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament... absolutely not. There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the the seventh day to the first day of the week" From a paper by Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, Author of The Baptist Manual.

CATHOLIC; "You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we (Catholics) never sanctify."  James Cardinal Gibbons, "The
Faith of Our Fathers,p. 111.

CHURCH of CHRIST: "I do not believe that the Lord's Day came in the room of the Jewish Sabbath, or that the Sabbath was changed from the seventh to the first day."  Alexander Campbell, Washington Reporter October 8, 1821.

PRESBYTERIAN: "The Christian
Sabbath (Sunday) is not in the Scriptures, and was not by the primitive church called the Sabbath". Dwight's Theology, Vol 4. P.401.

DICTIONARY: "The notion of a formal substitution by apostolic authority of the Lord's day meaning Sunday) for the Jewish Sabbath (or the first for the seventh day)... and the transference to it, perhaps in a spiritualist form, of the sabbatical obligation established by the promulgation of the Fourth Commandment, has no basis whatsoever either in the Holy Scripture or in Christian antiquity." Sir William Smith, and Samuel Cheetham, "A Dictionary of Christian Antiquities, vol 2P.182 Article "Sabbath"

M'Clintock and Strong, "Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature" vol 9,p.196.
"It must be confessed that there is no law in the New Testament concerning the first day."

NOTE: as all can plainly see, most of the Christian Churches own doctrines agree on the Seventh day Sabbaths and not on the first day, yet many pastor from each of the above, will argue to great lengths, using the Bibles own verses to state that the Sabbath day has been changed to the Sunday, the first day of the week, even though there's no such verses, that so state, unless one, on purpose, misinterpret some verses.

3. They who claim that their leader, has such high powers that even God and the angels must obey!

Isaiah 14:12-15. "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."

NOTE: Is their thinking that God must obey the Pope, not a little reminiscent of the above passage from Isaiah, referral to Lucifer  AKA Satan? How could I or any other Bible loving Christ man or woman accept such blasphemy?

CONT: Ibid: "All Christians should be of an ecumenical mind, but especially those entrusted with particular duties and responsibilities in the world and in society: hence the principles of ecumenism sanctioned by the Second Vatican council should be appropriately;y introduced in all institutions of advanced learning."

Note: This can only work if Biblical Christians are able to park their brains in, a closet!

                             CATHOLIC CATECHISM  816
"The sole Church of Christ {is that] which our Savior, after his Resurrection, entrusted Peter's pastoral care, commissioning him and the other apostles to extend and rule it... This Church......"  CONT:

Note:   Matthew 16:18. "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"
      Church in Greek = a group, an assembly of believers but NOT a church nor building nor organization.
      ROCK = Gr for a a man's name Peter, Petra means pebble. small rock, nothing more nothing less!

CONT: "This Church, constituted and organized as a society in the present world, [subsists in] the Catholic  [Means-Universal] Church, which is governed by the successor { note: that's their claim, but not shown nor proved by the Bible] Peter and by the bishops on communion with him."  Cont:

Note:" in communion with him?"  WHO??  Peter who has been dead for close to 2,000 years, that's quite a feat, right?

Cont: "The Second Vatican council's Decree on Ecumenism explains: " For it is through Christ's Catholic Church alone, which is the universal help towards salvation. that the fullness of salvation can be attained. {note: WOW so how much conceit is needed for this NON_ BIBLICAL  thinking? Yet it shows to all, Rome has NOT changed it doctrines, yet many believe that she has}
It was the apostolic college alone, of which Peter was the head,, that we believe that our Lord entrusted us all the blessings of the New Covenant, in order to establish on earth the one body of Christ which all those should be fully incorporated who belong in any way to the People of God"

Note: Question:  is their reasoning for the why million were murdered because they hold the belief of "Believe as I or die?" during the Dark Ages of Europe! Yet what does the Bible say about our salvation?

Acts 4:10-12. "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

NOTE: so friend, who do YOU believe, man, men or God? Tell me,.... has man ever lied to you?

WOUNDS TO UNITY:  Article 817

"In fact, 'in this one and only {note is this not also very arrogant?] Church of God, from its very beginnings there arose some rifts, which the Apostle strongly denounces as damnable. But in subsequent centuries more serious disincentives appeared and large communities became separated from full communion with the Catholic Church- for which, often enough, men of of both sides were to blame. The ruptures that wound the unity of Christ' s Body- here we must distinguish heresy, apostasy and schisms - do not occur without human sin:
    Where there are sins, these are also divisions, schisms,heresies, and disputes. Where there is virtue, however, there is also harmony and unity, from which arise the one heart and the one soul of all believers."

NOTE: So who is according this this article' s views, the sinners? ALL those who hold a differing doctrine than this Roman Church, of course! So those who feel convicted to follow the Biblical Sabbath, are sinners!
Funny, well not really its sad, that the System which removed the 2nd Commandment, about making, and the worship of idols,and then had to split the 10th one into 2 parts, would hold those who obeyed all TEN as SINNERS. Plus all those who have done what? Separated from this church, since the Reformation! agree?

TOWARDS UNITY Article 820

"Christ bestowed unity on his Church {note the lower case" h" i n His} Church from the beginning. {Note: there was not such statement made b y Jesus, in fact this system did not begin until nearly 40 years after His Ascension!} This unity we believe, subsists in the Catholic Church as something she can never lose, and we hope it will continue to increase until the end of time."

Article 836:     "All men are called to this catholic unity of the People of God. And to it, in different ways, belong or are ordered: the Catholic faithful, others, who believe in Christ, and finally all mankind, called by God' s grace to salvation!

Note: Does this not proclaim there's salvation only within this church, by God' s grace! I never knew that God limited His grace to only the Catholic Church did you? But it gits worse...

Article 837.      "Fully incorporated into the society of the Church are those who, possessing the Spirit of Christ, accept all the means of salvation given unto the church together with her organization, and who, by the bonds constituted by the profession of faith, the sacraments, ecclesiastical government, and communion, are joined in the visible structure of the Church of Christ, who rules her through the SUPREME PONTIFF [NOTE emphasis are mine] and the bishops. Even though incorporated into the Church, one does not however persevere in charity is not saved. He remains indeed in the bosom of the Church, but "in body" not "in heart."

 Mark 16:16. " He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

NOTE: Do you see in the above verse any of these man -made conditions, to salvation?

WHAT'S THE FINAL OBJECTIVE? Priest J. Cornell:

"The final object of ecumenism, as Catholics conceive it, is unity in Faith, worship and the acknowledgement of supreme spiritual authority of the Bishop of Rome." 

Note: Accept that the supreme spiritual authority of the Pope, the Bishop of Rome! Thus it matters nothing what the Bible says, only what the Pope has to say!! One man from the top tells the rest what to believe and how to live, sound like a definition of a cult to you?
    Now how's that for the bottom line? Sounds very much like "This is a Democracy and I run it", right?

Article 841...... "The Church' s relationship with the Muslims: "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place among whom the Muslims: those profess to hold faith in Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

Note: In no verse of God's Holy Word, does it say we must have faith in Abraham, but we should have the faith Abraham had in God! A big difference right?

Article 842:      "The Church's  bond with non-Christian religions is in the first place the common origin and end of the human race:
      " All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth, and also because all share a common destiny,  {note: not Biblical some shall perish, some shall receive eternal life} namely God. His providence, evident goodness, and saving designs extent to all against the day when the elect are gathered together in the holy city."

NOTE: They contradict their doctrines of die and go right to heaven here, do they not? Yes all the just shall be gathered by Christ at His return, even those from the graves!

"Further Questions Answered by Bonaventure Hinwood  OFM states:

"Vatican 2 teaches in several places that the Catholic Church and it alone, is the Church founded by Jesus Christ."

Note: There's NO CHANGE on her part, now is there?

Note: IN September 2,2000 in a much reported around the world in newsprint:  "The Vatican' s 36 page statement Tuesday said other Christian communities, such as Anglican or other Protestants, "are not
Churches in the proper sense."

"Dominus Jesus" Other churches are no sisters of ours, the Vatican insists," Sep. 5. 2000 "The Independent"

9/4/2000 cardinal Ratzinger (note now a Pope) "It must always be clear that the one, holy, catholic and apostolic  universal church is not the sister, but the mother of all churches.."

Note: He is Biblical, and  correct on this remark as she is the Mother!
Revelation 17:4-7. "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns."

Note: "Blood of the Martyrs: Fox's History of the Church will show that between 50 to 1oo millions were murdered for not accepting what this church told them to believe!
So how is this met by the Press?
Washington Post, September 6, 2000 P.A13 by R. Jeffrey Smith Pots' Foreign Service:

" Rome 9/5 "A new Vatican dictum issued today declares that individuals can attain full salvation from earthly sin only through the spiritual grace of the Catholic Church {Note: Jesus Christ is set aside} and that other faiths-including Protestant Christians ones- have defects that place their followers in a Gravely deficient situation" in seeking salvation. The goal, according to a top Vatican official, is to combat the "so-called theology of religious pluralism." which suggests that Catholics are on a par on God's eyes with, say Jews, Muslims or Hindus."

Note: When you limp earth';s religions all together into one huge pot, what kind of religious "stew" of PLURALISM will that bring in? Notice just how inconsistent these views are becoming? Yet what is the main concern? TO BE WITHIN THE BIBLE right? How do we receive Salvation in God's word?

Genesis 49:1. " I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD."

NOTE: "..THY salvation, Oh LORD Moses wrote this 1500 years before THERE WAS A CATHOLIC CHURCH, as per them, I guess Moses is lost? {Then why was he with Christ and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration?

Matthew 17:1-3. "And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him."

VATICAN 2 AND SUNDAY WORSHIP.

Any effort is to be made to make Sunday a Rest Day! More over any endeavor that seeks to make Sunday, a genuine 'day of joy, and rest from work, should be encouraged" Documents of Vatican 2 p. 117

Genesis 2:1-3. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

Exodus 20:8-11."Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."

Exodus 31:13. "Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."

Note: So far how many points of disagreements do we have between God's Word and the many words of men? Whom do YOU feel you can trust?

Rome's version of the "Lord's Day"

Psalms 118:24. "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it".

Note: This is the verse Rome used, in their Catechism Book, as their take: The day of the Resurrection: the new creation
2174: Jesus rose from the dead on "the first day of the week". Because it is that "First day" of Christ Resurrection recalls the first creation {note if there's a 1st Creation does that mean there will/has been a second?] Because it is the 8th day.... following the Sabbath, it symbolizes the new creation ushered in by Christ's resurrection. For Christians it has become the first of all days, the first of all feasts, the Lord' s Day. [ he karioke hemera , dies dominica-] Sunday.

Daniel 7:25> "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

Note: Over 500 years BEFORE Christ' s birth Daniel was given this information about how this very same "Little Horn" would in fact THINK to change times and laws. This he did, Gen 1 shows in many places God set the time of day, at the beginning of each new day at the sun-set of that day just past. Men in Rome set a day from mid-night to mid-night! And the laws?
1. The Second Commandment done away with but the 10th was cut into two parts, still have 10?
4th Commandment, six days shalt thou labor, but rest on the Sabbath the 7th day. This is Rome's 3rd!

I guess they think that 8 our ten is not bad, right? Please remember THERE IS IN THE BIBLE, NO SUCH A THING AS THE JEWISH SABBATH, God instilled the Sabbath as his last creative work on the sixth day, the same day he moulded and made Adam and Eve  Go back and re-read Gen2:1-3! The word Jew did not appear until in the Book of Ruth, almost a 1,000 latter!

So how did Rome get these non Biblical doctrines? "Traditions" If you have spent some time listening to their T.V broadcasts, sooner or latter, you'll hear this "If it's a question of what we should follow, the Bible or the Church' s Traditions, traditions win! 
Now YOU reader, know the reason why Jesus said this:

Matthew 15:6. "And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition."

Mark 7:9. "And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."

Revelation 14:12. "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Revelation 22:14. "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Note: If we keep the Commandments what are we promised? Eternal Life!
     Therefore, on the contrary if those who refuse to keep His commandments, yet know the truth, what's in store for them? What's the opposite of eternal life?

Revelation 20:9. "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

Note: This Lake of Fire will have it's one time existence, first only time it's used in this manner. and is NOT forever how do we know?

Malachi 4:3."And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts."

Where will this take place?

Revelation 21:1-2. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

Revelation 19:20. "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

NOTE: sin and death shall not ever enter into the eternity, that's what this live is for, for all humans to come to thew knowledge that sin is a dead end street, that we lean to shun it, in all its forms with the help and aid of the Holy Spirit, as we within self can't do this that why we need Jesus!

Read the Mark of the Beast, being a very visible mark, as to"Which day you go to a church for worship! I pray for you that you uses the 7th day for it's the Day God set aside for us as a sign and a memorial to Creation!
