JESUS CHRIST. . .IMPOSTER OR MESSIAH?

    JESUS CHRIST....IMPOSTER OR MESSIAH?

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION , would you agree?

Jesus lays claim to the most astonishing claims as:

John 14:6. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

In this Jesus says the HE is the door, the gate, through which all must come to the Father, thus without Jesus NO ONE comes to the Father, but by Him! A very arrogant claim by many, but how can one argue with print? It shall forever say what it says, until it' s burned or destroyed,  right?

Today He' s being marginalized by the higher critics, and by the so-called "New Reformation" by ripping the heart out of the Messianic Bible! Under the world Council of Churches, and within the Ecumenical movement, Jesus must be placed as but an equal, to all other gods of human origins, and not placed above any other.

But. . . IF HE IS GOD. . .then this must come up to an impasse, but let' s not take the many, many words of men, but rather go to the ONLY source we humans have, the Holy Bible!   It's not my intention to persuade you, but only to inform you, so YOU can make an intelligent choice, because the freedom to chose is a God-given gift. So let's put the lights on, so YOU don't have make a choice in the darkness!

John 6:38. "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me."

How many people can make that claim?   This is either a presumption or a truth!

From: "Evidence That Demands a Verdict",  a book by Josh. McDonald:

     "Some skeptics have suggested that these prophecies were accidentally or coincidentally fulfilled in Jesus. According to the Science of Probability that, of any one human being-- up to the present---fulfilling a selection of just eight of these prophecies [including the one of the crucifixion] is 1 in 10 to the 17th power! ...And here we are considering only 8 prophecies. What if we were to consider 48  Messianic prophecies? The change then becomes virtually zero {1 x 10 to the 157th power] What about the other prophecies?" Remember Jeremiah wrote of 50 prophecies himself, {Even that's not all of them, found in the Bible!}

NOTE: Science holds that the total number of particles in the entire Universe is 10 to the power of 80! Thus these odds, are greater than there are particles in the entire universe!

Numbers 24:17. "I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Seth."

The "Star" is Jesus, but the writer was Moses, and what did he say? "I shall see Him" How did he know this, unless he was shown it, in a vision or dream?

Isaiah 40:3. "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God."

Not only did this forecast Jesus but also John the Baptist, agree?

Matthew 3:1-3  . "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."

Note:  Esaias is the Greek for Isaiah.

John 8:36. "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

This is a very important prophecy, because few of us, have not been burdened by one or two things, we feel guilty about? Well, in prayer, with a repentant heart, confess your sins, and feel the weight of them lift from you! Then tell me that God does not exist, OK? Besides who but Christ Jesus can offer you and me, freedom, from sin, form fear, from worry, and from sickness and death in life yet to come?
No not any Political Freedoms, but freedom from bondage to Satan and sins!

John 8:33. "They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?"

John 18:3. " Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world,...... "

    His Miraculous Birth. . .foretold.....

Isaiah 7:14. "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

EMMANUEL---   EL =GOD; WITH US!   No not just anyone but GOD with us! Hebrew names meant something, not just subjective, this is why a good Bible concordance or dictionary is needed to learn the depths of the Word! Of course, even highly educated types, will not understand it, without prayers for the wisdom to understand His word, comes by our asking for the Holy Spirit's help. But this all hinges on one's acceptance of Christ as our Savior.
Is this not unlike our  jobs? We first must put in our work, before we can receive a paycheck?
Joshua  Greek for Jesus, mean YAH' s Savior, YAH being one of God's names.
So by His own words, Jesus said He is God, thus placed Himself far above anyone else in any of humanity's religions, right?

Luke 1:28-31. "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.  And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS."

Please learn and know, that Luke 1 with knowing the "Course of Abia,"   Lk.1:5. being on our calendar June 20th -24th, gives all the info needed to know Christ' s birth was not December 25th that the "Little
Horn' s",  date for the winter solstice, a Pagan holy day! {did you get Aug. 20th to 24th?}

Micah 5:2. "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.."

Beth + house.  lehem means of bread--  Ephratah= basket Thus house of the basket of Bread and we find...

John 6:48. "I am that bread of life."

Sorry there just are NO accidents, nor co-incidents,  in God's Word!

Isaiah 61:1-2. "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;"

Luke 4:18. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,"

Luke 4:19. "To preach the acceptable year of the Lord"

Are not these last three verses, pretty much say the same thing? But Isaiah? Yet Isaiah lived at the time of of great apostasy in Israel. Preaching from 740- 696 B.C.

Isaiah 35:5-6. "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert."

Matthew 9:35. "And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people."

Isaiah 61:3. "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."

Psalms 78:2. "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: "

Matthew 13:3-4. "And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:"

Zechariah 9:9. "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass"

.Luke 19:35. "And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

Psalms 41:9. "Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me."

"..has lifted his heel against me,.." A Hebrew saying meaning betrayed me.

Matthew 26:48-49. "Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him."

Did not Judas Iscariot betray Jesus . . .  yes or no?

Zechariah 11:11-13. "And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.  And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.  And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prized at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD".

Prized at of them, means highly prized of them.Remember, please that Judas gave them back their 30 pieces of silver, but they refused to take it back because it was "Blood money", so they used it to buy a land, and called it, " Field of Blood", still to this day,. Then it was to bury the poor!

Matthew 27:5-8. "And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day."

Isaiah 50:6-7 . "... gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed."

Please know that when the Temple Guards place Jesus under arrest, He was tried a total of seven (7) times, before being nailed to the wood.

Matthew 26:67. "Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,"

Psalms 69:4 . "They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away."

John 15:25. "But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. "

Isaiah 53:7. "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth."

Matthew 27:12. "And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing."

Psalms 109:25  I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.

Matthew 27:39. "And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,"

Psalms 22:16 . "For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet."

Luke 23:33. "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left."

Matthew 27:38. "Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left".

Luke 24:27. "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself."

Psalms 69:21. "They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink."

Matthew 27:34. "They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink."

Isaiah 53:12. "Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Matthew 27:38. "Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left."

How many of you know,  that there's many a "Christian", who deny the very prophecies we have addressed so far? Still others who say they are "New Testament Christians", who have not a clue about all the Old Testament fore told all about Jesus, in fact we even have Jesus saying....

Luke 24:25-26."Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?"

Luke 23:33 . "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left."

Luke 24:27. "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself."

Mark 15:28."And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors."

Zechariah 12:10-11. "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon."

Isaiah 53:12  ."...and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Luke 23:34. "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."

I wonder how many of us would after all He suffered, would any one of us say "Father forgive them?" Have you not yet learned that each and every character trait,  that is Jesus Christ, was shown to us in the Old Book?

Psalms 22:18. "They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture"

How many have learned that this 22nd Psalm was penned by David, about 1,000 years before the Cross?

John 19:23-24. "Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.  They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did"

Can you think of the why, they did not cut His garment into pieces? His robe was woven as one piece, without a seam, because Christ' s righteousness is also without seems! I guess they thought it was just too perfect to divide, just as it's owner is perfect!

People, over the years have asked the why of this verse.....

Psalms 22:1. "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?"

Matthew 27:46 .And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

So why this verse?  First It was predicted, In PS. 22 thus must come to pass. Plus He died a death of total separation from the Father, because He was made our. . .sins...

2 Corinthians 5:21. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him"

Sin can NOT exist before God's Glory, thus for the first time in His eternal existence Jesus could no longer see His Father! This however is not all, remember that Jesus was carrying the entire load of sin's past present and at that time still future, the sins of you and me still today!
Now there is no Scripture showing this, but I believe even while dieing He was teaching to us, down through time, by saying as much as,  Look to PS 22, for it contains much of this event, that I do for each of you, because I  LOVE YOU!

Psalms 22:16 . "For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet."

Then down to the very last words He would speak, before death....

Psalms 31:5. "Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth."

Psalms 34:20, "He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken."

Please remember, the Pass Over Lambs, they were to be eaten, yes, BUT NOT A BONE WAS TO BE BROKEN! Christ is our Pass Over Lamb, and why we don't kill lambs anymore for a sacrifice.
. "Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:"

We have shown you, reader, that forecast was:
HIS PLACE OF BIRTH....  MANNER OF HIS BIRTH ....HIS BETRAYAL...THE MANNER OF HIS DEATH

John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

How  can anyone not have a deeper understanding of the great love our Heavenly Father has for each one of us by reading this most well known verse, with perhaps a far deeper understanding?

Isaiah 53:9 . "And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth."

Remember He died hanging between to criminals, and was placed into a tomb of a rich man, Joseph of Arimathaea!

Matthew 27:57. "When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:"

Sadly, many persons hold to this idea, that yes the New Testament does agree with many of the points made for Jesus in the Old Book, but perhaps they just read it and copied into their own books!
This idea creates a huge problem, due to these facts:
  •  They, most people, including including most of the religious leaders, did not understand the prophecies, otherwise they would have embraced the Messiah, right?
  •  This also ignores the true Author's part in the Scriptures, God Himself as well as the Holy Spirit, who moved them to write the Bible.
  • Most importantly, the Old Book's prophecy's have come to pass, exactly how they are written, even within Human historical records, written by ordinary people!
  • Yet this fact is supreme, only God can move men, by events, to have past sayings come true!

I can speak to you about a second Tuesday next week, but that is beyond any human power to arrange or control, agree? But that which is impossible for man is what for God?

Mark 10:27. "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible"

Are any corroborations, beyond the Bible?

Lacitus, the Roman Historian writes in about AD115, speaking about Nero' s persecutions of Christians in the year AD46. "Cristus, from whom their name is derived, was executed at the hands of the Procurator Pontius Pilate, in the reign of Tiberius."

Suetonius, an other Roman historian writes in about AD120, speaking about Cristus, "Since the Jews were continually making disturbances ass the instigation of Christus, he {Claudius] expelled them from Rome."

The Talmud [Jewish traditions from the 3rd Century] "On the eve of the Passover they hanged Jeshu of Nazareth.

That's but three sources outside of the Holy Bible, confirming a a few main facts.

Sadly most know not that Jesus Christ is always central, in the Bible, yes even in the Old Testament!

If, any actually studied the Sanctuary,

Exodus 25:8. "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them"

Then you'd learn that it's a beautiful message of Christ's Salvation, as He is the lamb slain!

Revelation 13:8. "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

Please think on this, from within the Holy Bible, from facts given within it, we can conclude that there's been, from Gen.1:1 to present nearly 7,000 years, and from the Cross to now, is 1970 years, meaning that both The Father and the Son, Jesus Christ, lived with knowing the exact date of His flesh birth, and death on the Cross! Could any of us face knowing our day of death?

Each item within the Sanctuary, each practice, all are references to Christ, including the sacrifices of the lambs, all pointed to, and were a "Shadow", which stood for the real Sacrifice for the world's sins, that of Christ Jesus! In fact we can say, the whole ceremony was a picture of God's Salvation through Jesus Christ!

This is one of the reasons why Jesus Christ is the "Door"  the gate {BAB in Babylonian language) because before God, only a Holy and Divine personage could be worthy to PURCHASE humanity from Satan, who gained "Ownership" of earth because of Sin!

1 Corinthians 6:20 . "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's"

Redemption and Salvation, are identical in God's Word. But why are sins so costly?

Romans 6:23. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Leviticus 17:11. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."

Matthew 26:28. "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins"

.Hebrews 8:1-2. "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man."

Hebrews 9:24. "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"

NOTE: "...which are the figures of the true.." meaning the Earthly man -made Tabernacle of Exodus, was but a copy of the original one that was "Made without hands"!  Please learn and know that the entire Old Testament can be considered as a typology, a fore runner of the Christ and His Works, on both earth and in Heaven!

                           ECUMENICAL EQUALITY OF HUMAN RELIGIONS?

In view of what's been covered, the above statement becomes a huge, and insurmountable problem, for all who know we must take the Word of God, over and above the mere words of men, agree?

Here's the reason why, and the honest truth of it:
  • Neither man  nor men, can even save themselves for the eternal life to come, only Jesus is able!
  • Therefore, if anyone eliminates or diminishes, Jesus, in place of another, what's your idea?
  • John 14:6but by "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,"
  • Thus salvation is ONLY possible by, through and in The ONE who shed His life's blood, as payment for all sins, for all time!
  • Joshua 24:15. "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
  • Because. . . . anything YOU and ME, put between our Heavenly Father and self, is an IDOL!
  • Jesus Christ, was not only a fleshly Prophet, but was also the Predicted Messiah, The GOD-MAN who paid willingly with His life, to purchase Salvation, yours and mine, from Satan who no longer owns earth, but still "runs it" within God's limits.
Matthew 4:8-9. "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."

If you, my friend, are still unsure of who can offer you Salvation, read Daniel chapter 8, know that this was Greece under Alexander the Great, [ took Medo-Persia/Babylon Vs8:3,20 by Grecia 8:4-8 ( 12 of his generals fought & 4 ruled the resulting 4 kingdoms , Seleucus-Turkey to India \ his successor Antiocus called by Rome the antichrist\ Ptolemy-Egypt & the Holy Lands \ ancestor to Cleopatra\ Lysimachus Southern Turkey,Syria, Lebanon of today, Cassander- Macedonia,Greece] then in 8:9 we have the little horn again.

Please note, that God caused this to be written by Daniel, lived in Babylon since a young man, spoke to the king, Dan.2. about the king' s dream, of all these kingdoms yet to come, including the I.D. of the final human kingdom which is pushing it's ideas again upon the whole world, just as it did so during the Dark Ages!

Yes flesh humans have had many "Fortune Tellers", star Gazers, Chicken Innards Readers, Bone Readers, and Lord only knows what else, but none are 100% point on, in actions and time, but our Creator!

Read my blog, Science of the Bible, in which I ask this question: Who has a working Time Travel Machine, and used it to go back into time, to tell Moses what to write, of science facts, that human science new NOTHING about until 300 years ago!

Yes, perhaps a silly idea, but who but God could know and have told Moses of these facts?  OR do YOU my friend, have another explanation? Or think you, as Josh Mc Donald wrote some want to place all these facts, under accidental co-incidence?

Your choice is simple, chose Christ and life, or stay uncommitted thus reject Him and choose death, please know, that either choice shall be ETERNAL!
