WHAT IF........ HE DID NOT?

LET'S ALL BE ADULTS SHALL WE, AND ASK WITHIN OURSELVES, "WHAT IF JESUS REFUSED, TO. . . . . . .WILLINGLY DIE.......ON THE CROSS?"

1; This means:  Satan' s won both the battle and the war, over human souls!
2. All of humanity since 31 A.D. would have, been able to do as each was willing to do, restricted only by
    our own serving values!
3. We, hum,ans would have killed each other into humanity' s extinction long ago.

How many of you readers, would disagree in general terms, to the above, knowing that in all of nature, all types of forces have an opposite force, light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong, sweet and sour pull and push, hot and cold etc.

WHAT IF.......... .    >

Matthew 4:1-3. "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread."

What, I ask would YOU have done here? Jesus went without food for 40 days, and remember the Bible says that Jesus was both God and flesh man, so He could have turned the stones into bread, just as Satan tempted Him to do, thus sin, the sin of disobedience against His Father.
Plus, Satan most certainly knew that Christ was part of the Godhead, and sent by The the Father Himself, so why the question "IF thous be the Son of God"?
Satan will always do his best to raise doubts in any human being.

Matthew 4:4. "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

This is a human being's only defense against all of Satan and his helpers, of all their lies and half truths, in spirit form or in flesh form.So study and learn God's Word and forget the words of man.

Temptation 2

Matthew 4:5-6. "Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."

Jesus' defense [and ours}?
Matthew 4:7 . "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God."

Deuteronomy 6:16  "Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah."

The Third Attempt.

Matthew 4:8-9. "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me."

Matthew 4:10. "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

Matthew 4:11. "Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."

From the above exchange, we all can learn a few things agree?
1. Satan will lie, to get his way
2. Truth has for Satan, no value
3. If he has no love nor respect for whom he personally knew to the the Son of the God, one of three Co-Equal Eternal Divine beings that make up the the full Godhead, why think he cares about any of us?
4. With Christ' s power if we call upon Jesus, to remove Satan and Company from our lives, he and  his MUST leave!

Now we come to the time when Jesus having instructed His disciples on the Service of Humility, the Foot-washing and then Communion' s supper of UN-leaven bread and grape juice, HE knows it is time for him to do what He came to earth to do, provide salvation for all willing to obey beings.
That being to fulfill prophecy, fulfill the law, and to have placed on Him all sins for all time, and take all them to be placed and buried in the grave/tomb with Him!

They are now on the way to that garden ....>
Matthew 26:36  . "hen cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder."

Why, was Jesus in need of prayer?

Matthew 26:37-38. "And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me."

Please know that God the Father, God the Son and Savior, and God the Holy Spirit, have been from forever and will live to forever, as they are eternal and so far the only ones so, as per our given information!

Knowing the above, Jesus has never experienced within Himself any sin, and now He bore all sins for all time, so no wonder He said ".....Exceeding sorrowful, even unto death,,,,"  but read on...>

Matthew 26:39. "And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

This cup, of what? His death?    NO! Jesus knew that ALL who refused to accept HIM in obedience founded upon love, all this who rejected Him would perish forever, and He asked of His Father, if there was possibly another way to save those people!

Matthew 26:40-41. "And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

This explains why we are so frail in our resolve, to self improve our character, in order to more like Jesus, we need His power via the Holy Spirit to change and "rewire" our brain/heart, as this is how He speaks to us!

Matthew 26:42./ "He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done."

Notice, this is His second prayer session.

Matthew 26:44. "And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words."

Matthew 26:45-47.  'Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

Jesus the man, would not know before hand, but Jesus as God most certainly did know what the future held.

Luke 23:35-39. "And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us."

Please know historical facts: A young strong man, in good health, at that time of year, could be expected to live nailed as they did, to a Cross, for 2-4 days. because the intent of Rome, was to make it as painful as possible, while making it last as long as possible. But also to be most humiliating as possible, they were all naked, and one's bowels and bladder one can control only so long, right?
As for these three, two thieves and our Lord, well this was Jerusalem, and on a Friday, a Preparation day for the Sabbath that begins at sunset Friday, and no bodies must remain unburied for the Sabbath/Saturday, they the Roman soldiers broke the legs, so they would suffocate soon, but Jesus' legs were not broken as foretold and He passed at noon.

Luke 23:44-45. "And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.  And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst."

Note: Remember His nakedness? Well look at what The Father did! The sixth hour 9 AM when they stripped Him of clothing, "..there was a darkness over all the earth.." God the Father made it dark, so those who jeered and told Him to "Save Himself if IF He is who He claims to be! {People still say this today right?]  Could not see Him until noon when He was taken down.

Luke 23:46-47. "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man."

So why did Jesus do this? Because HE loves us, each and every one of us, who have ever lived, and live now, or will yet live, because He knows that without the shedding of Blood there can be no remission of sin!He took on all sin for all time including yours and mine, to the grave with Him!

Matthew 28:1-7. " In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.   His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you."

Do not overlook given facts here!
WE know from the Bible, that Rome, on the request of the Temple leaders, placed a Centurion guard  by the the tomb and it's door was sealed.  Centurion is where we have Century, or 100 years, thus an platoon of 101 men, plus Satan and his angels were most likely also on guard, yet not visible to human eyes.

Yet ONE ANGEL of God, was all that was needed to melt away Satan and company and turn the Roman platoon as if they were dead men..

So in summery can we say say HE DIDN'T, HE DIDN'T, HE DID?
JESUS DID NOT  fall into temptations of Satan
JESUS DID NOT succumb, when He saw two of His most trusted disciples, who could see the pain He suffered, cared not enough, to remain awake while He prayed? Can we be sure that Satan was whispering in His ear, Look at your own co-workers, Jesus they do not care enough to stay awake, think the rest of mankind cars if you live or die?
JESUS DID NOT, listen to Satan, whose followers yelled If you are the Messiah/God, get down from the cross and save yourself!

JESUS DID stay on the Cross, JESUS DID die for our sins, that we might have eternal life through Him.

JESUS DID resurrect for the death HE died for all humans, and thereby give us hope of eternal life with Him!

NOW, if as the world's "EXPERTS" say, this is impossible, I ask who made us? Who created all things and all life? Was it the "EXPERTS"?
Like the old joke; "a scientist told God that he also could make man" God told him OK show me. So the man when out to his garden and put some dirt into a bucket, when God told him, "Stop, make your own dirt"!

Any one with some intellectual honesty, will look at evolution, and remove all the ideas, speculations, and shave of all of that animals hair {as same say} what kind of animal is left?
ALL ONE HAS IS THIS STATEMENT: "DEAD STUFF, BY AND OF ITSELF, BECAME ALIVE!"
That my friends is the bare bone to earth truth, about evolution!
As ONLY GOD, cam make something out of and from N O T H I N G !
If you think YOU can, please try!
