These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honorable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few."
Why did these believe"

This is the reason why I say, "Never take the Words of men for the Word of God, check it out for yourself!"
Daniel 12:4. "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased"
Knowledge has most certainly increased, even Biblical Knowledge, and it is proven by archeology, a science today.
.Revelation 13:3. "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."
As you've learned in Revolutions, Tyrants and Wars, this was caused by Napoleon's General Bertheir taking the Pope prisoner in 1798, who died three months latter, but they took control of this 114 Acre city/State, and it lost it's Nation standing, the Church remained however. The State part was lost to her. A deadly wound was healed in 1929 with a treaty between Pietro Gasparri and Benito Mussolini, 1852-1934 and 1883- 4/28/1945, respectively. The San Fransisco Chronicle's headline that day "The Deadly Wound is healed".
You ask, "Why is this important?
Revelation 13:8. "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.'
If yours or my names are NOT written in the Books of Life, then we are forever lost! Biblical "Blotted Out", as if we never ever existed, period! We are removed even from the memories of all who have known us, that shall have eternal life! Heaven could not be otherwise, because how would a Mother feel, remembering her child, who is gone by way of the Second Death, and have this remembrance with her for all time? For a God that IS Love, this would be most cruel.
Hebrews 4:12. "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
John 3:21. "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
Revelation 14:6-7. "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters"
So what should be our foundation and bases for worship? {Do you see Exodus 20:8-11 in above?}
Revelation 4:11. "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
Perhaps by now, you are asking, why all this much time in Revelation? Well, that's easy, it's full title is The Revelations of Jesus Christ. Plus it's the last book, and covers most of the end time events, that we are living within!
Now has God given us a symbol of His Creative powers? Has he given us a refuge in this stress filled world? Plus has He given humanity a sign of His creative authority?
Oh, Yes He has, deep within "The Decalogue" in the heart of the Ten Commandments, He has placed His symbol of His Authority, within the Royal law, the Law of Liberty!
Exodus 20:8-11. "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Have you ever seen the Presidential Seal? Does it not contain the Name: the Office, and the Territory?
Title= Name of: Office= President: Territory: United States of America, right? Well read above again...
Title: LORD Office: God/Creator/Maker: Territory Heaven and Earth. is this not a Seal of Office? His Authority?
So when did God establish this Sabbath day?
Genesis 2:1-3. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made"
CREATION WEEK: DAYS 1-6 /24 hours each, GOD CREATED, THEN THE 7TH DAY
HE RESTED ON IT
HE BLESSED IT
HE SANCTIFIED IT [set aside for a Holy Purpose}
Is man or men able to make anything Holy? NO! Only those who are Holy Themselves, can make something else Holy, only the Godhead is able, no human is able, period!!{Men can only ask for something to be blessed}
Did God make the Sabbath only for the Jews or Israelite s? NO!
Acts 17:26. "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;"
Mark 2:27. "And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:'
The Sabbath was and is God's gift to you and me, so that one one day, one 24 hour span of time, we can relax, gather together to worship, to enjoy fellowships, and to learn more about our Father and the Son, both who work through the Holy Spirit.. It's our Father's love gift to the entire human race.
Exodus 31:17."It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."
Ezekiel 20:12. "Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them"
So tell me, would He still feel the need to sanctify . . YOU. . . . if you worship on the 6th day or as most on the 1st day of the week?
How would you feel if those you love, celebrated your birthday one day sooner? Or your wedding anniversary? OR?
I for one am grateful, for a 24 hour span of time, to unplug from the world, and have the chance to learn more about our Father and Savior, how about you? Is there a burden you'd love for Jesus to carry, for you,
or to remove it ? Help is not ever more than a prayer away, or do you ignore your child's cry for help? We all are His children, remember?
Do you know that science, in which most practitioners dismiss God, have found that most life forms, have a natural life cycles, that peak on each Friday at sunset, right through the Sabbath until sunset Saturday? Can you think of the WHY? Besides............look at this verse..........
John 14:15. "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Now does this verse say, "..keep those you agree with?." or "...keep those which you've been taught..."? or does it say, ",,,keep the only the day most people choose.."? OR, does it say "...keep the day chosen by popular Church leaders?''
Why DO YOU think the 4th begins with the word "Remember"? No other does so, right? WHY?
What does the Bible say about breaking any one law?
Matthew 5:19. "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven"
James 2:10. "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
Many ask, or interject, "We don't know which day of the week is the Sabbath! Well they know not the Biblical Hebrew! They DID NOT name the days of the week, neither did God's Word, other than the ONE DAY, Sabbath."Sun"- day was called the first day after the Sabbath, "Moon"-day was the 2nd day after the Sabbath and so on until "Frye" day which was/is called Preparation Day, because it was the day of house cleaning, and precooking the Sabbath meals. All man named days are named after gods!Thus Sabbath could/should be a day of rest from all labor, unless for mercy's sake, human or animal.
Genesis 2:2-3. "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
Is there in the heavens any time span movements that accounts for our 7 day week? The month we arrived at due to the Lunar cycles, the day from earth's spin on its axis, and the year from earth's travel around the Sun, but only God gave us the seven day week!
Really, all we need is too look at the way nearly ALL Calendars are set up, right? Which day is the SEVENTH DAY, and which is the FIRST DAY, on YOUR calendar?
However, please let's go to the ONLY source of AUTHORITY, on religious matters, shall we?
Exodus 16:23-27. "And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none."
This was the Manna, Angel's food, that our Heavenly Father supplied them with during the 40 years of Exodus in the dessert!
Exodus 16:28. "And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?"
Many have asked, "Why, place such import on a day"?
OK, let's put it into a practical way, the Sabbath is found within God's Law, the 4th in fact, out of ten total, right? YOU and, I have 10, ten fingers and ten toes, (hopefully) so which one DO YOU WANT TO HAVE CUT-OFF? Why do you hold each finger or toe, to be so valuable, you still have the other nine of each, right?
Luke 23:52-56."This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment."
Prayerfully, YOU have by now learned that Fridays are known as Preparation days, "..and they returned, and prepared spices..... and rested on the Sabbath day..." Most know and many celebrate the day of the Crucifixion on a Friday, { "Good Friday") and know that Christ "rested" laid in His tomb, the next day, the Sabbath, and arose before dawn on the the{ 3rd day} being the 1st day of the week, the day of the Sun! So even in death Jesus "RESTED" on the Sabbath!
Yet there's more!
Please turn to Exodus 20:8-11, in your Bibles.
Exodus 20:8-11. "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Can you not see God's "Seal of Office" here, Name, Title Territory? But this still goes deeper yet!
Exodus 31:13. "Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you."
- "...a sign between me and you...." In God's Word a "sign", a "mark" are interchangeable, so why are Sabbaths so important? Read Revelation 13:16-17. This is commonly known as the "Mark of the Beast"
I hope that all can deduce from the above passage, that there shall be but two camps of human beings, those that follow the human teachings, of men, and those who follow the Words of God! Please know, the Beast is but a symbol, of "Power System," of human beings, who have taken Satan's side. This Revelation 13 onwards makes it plain! Especially .....
Revelation 18:1-5 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Emphasis are mine.
This then MUST cause anyone with any intellectual honesty, TO ASK. . .who changed this because God wrote it in Stone for permanence, right? Please also know, that there is NOT one verse, nor even the SLIGHTEST hint that we must celebrate Sun-day because Christ rose from the tomb on that day, within God's Word, anywhere! It's purely a man made day.
QUESTION: "Can men/man make a common day holy and make a holy day common?" Sabbaths to Sun-days?
Isaiah 66:22-23. "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD."
This time frame is AFTER the Millennium's 1,000 years, thus ALL those in Heaven follow the Christ's Sabbaths, would it make sense to change it here on earth since 321 A.D. and then. . . .;THEN BACK AGAIN? yes or no?
Leviticus 23:3. "Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings."
Yes, many think "This is only for the Jews, agree? So to whom is this next verse directed at?
Matthew 12:8. "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.'
These are Christ's words, so to who was this ultimately addressed to, but to all who believe in HIM, right?
Exodus 31:15 . "Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death."
Do you dear reader, think that YOU are not worth your efforts to find out the truth about the Sabbath, in view of the last verse?
