Lesson 13. REVELATION' S REMNANT CHURCH.

                                  DO. . . .ALL CHURCHES. . . LEAD. . . YOU. . .TO HEAVEN?

       SUSPECTED OF FAKING HIS "MIRACLES" ,  "Faith Healer", Peter Popoff was under secret investigation.
      Undercover agents were able to intercept and record secret radio transmissions that came from Peter's wife, to a miracle ear which he wore during his meetings. Peter's wife would casually interview guests to get their names, addresses and any ailment they might have. Then she would secretly broadcast the information to Peter's miracle ear piece.. When Peter would then call out the person's name the person would be impressed that the preacher actually knew their name and address, and ailment, they would immediately think IT WAS GOD giving him this information.
     Now a person when called out, as this, convinced that God was going to heal them, and since they went there filled with hope of healing, they actually experienced feeling of euphoria and even some relief from their illness, but that would be only very temporary.
     So the undercover investigators hired "actors", to come to his meetings acting out some illness. Sure enough, the wife would interview them, getting their name, address and illness. Sure enough, they'd be called up by Peter who would recite just what they told his wife. When confronted with evidence, Peter denied that he faked his healing and insisted he was a true prophet sent from God!

       Is there a way to tell if something is from God or not?
     Yes there is a "Deception Detector" that can tell the difference! The Bible is a flawless deception detector, and YOU are going to learn how to use it as such, to find out IF GOD has indeed a true church on His earth!

1. Does God have only ONE true "Last Day" Church?
     Revelation 12:7  "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,"
    Ephesians 4:4-5  "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,"

Note: As shown in Bible Symbols list, a Woman represents a church [Jeremiah 6:2 + 2 Corinthians 11:2 + Ephesians 5:23-27] In Rev.12:7 the dragon [devil] is angry at the woman [the pure church] thus proving this woman being symbolic of a good church, in God's eyes. The Bible tells us there shall be a  (1)Remnant,  or last remaining part, of God' s true church. The Bible also says there is only  (2) one true church body.
(1) Remnant- Romans 9:27; 11:15. Revelation. 11:13..
(2) One Body - 1 Corinthians 12:13.

2  So. . . why area there so many "Christian'' denominations? 
        Isaiah 4:1. "And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach."
Note: Yes these women wanted to apart of this man, for their own personal  reasons, earn their way, do "their own thing" but called by his name to take away our reproach.  {public shame} With this Jesus predicted [remember he IS the Word,  John 1:1-3,14] that many would take his name ['Christians'], but they'd live under their own rules, not His! "Shopping" for a church is like shopping for BREAKFAST CEREALS"  so many to chose from! Which one is right one in GOD's eyes? Christianity is now by far the most popular religion, but with 34,000 "denominations" how can they all fit within the Ephesians 4:4-5 guidelines in question 1? Yet do not all make the claim that they. . . .are THE true Church?
    Can you admit, to self, that Satan is a master at hiding God's truth in a maze of differing faiths?   SO....

3. Does it really matter what a church believes?
     Matthew 7:17-24  "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:"
NOTE: What's the "Bottom Line " here? Jesus is searching for all those who DO the will of His [and yours} Father , and is not a self- called. . .  'Christian' . . .in name only!

4. So how can anyone really find God' s True Church, as per the Bible's guidelines? [ 5 Major Points]
     (A)  It will be a all 10 Commandment keeping church. 
           Revelation 14:12  "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. "
Note: God's saints will keep, the whole law all Ten, yet knowing we are prone to forgetting, He began His Sabbath commandment with 'Remember'. The Bible also tells us that IF, we break one, be break them all!
        James 2:10 " For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." Please know that James, this James, was Christ's 1/2 brother by blood, both came from Mary.

     (B) It will be a worldwide church preaching God's end time messages. Rev 14: 6-11.
           Matthew 24:14  "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
           Mark 16:15-16  "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Note: God's true church will be preaching [ witnessing] the gospel in all the world, not a part of it but all. Jesus said to preach the gospel to the entire world, to every creature [ every human]

         What are GOD' s End Time messages to the world?
1.   These are the Three angels Messages found in Revelation 14.
2.   Give glory to God by worshiping Him, as Creator of the Heavens, earth the sea, and everything that in them is. [Language taken straight from the Sabbath commandment Exodus 20:7-11]
3.    Babylon is fallen, therefore come out of her confusions/false doctrines/worships.[ Rev.18:4]
4. Warning all the world,not to receive the Mark of the Beast [Rev.13;7;14:11; 15:2;16:2; 19:20 and 20:4. Now who thinks that this IS NOT important for God to give so many warnings?

(C) It will have all the Spiritual Gifts, including prophecy!
       1 Corinthians 1:6-8 " Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."
       Revelation 12:17  "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
       Revelation 19:9-10  "And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Note: God' s true church will be lacking NO Spiritual Gifts. The Bible says that the remnant will have the Testimony of Jesus. which is the Spirit of Prophecy. If you're looking for God's true church it MUST have all Spiritual Gifts including the gift of prophecy, would you you agree, so far?  Please note Rev. 12:17 above ""The dragon went to make war..." now I ask you does it make sense to you, that he'll make war, with those he has already totally deceived?

          Does a true Prophet have to be a man, or can a woman also be a prophet?

     Acts 2:17  "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"

A Partial list of Woman Prophets in God's Word.
Exodus 15:20. Miriam, sister of Moses, was a prophetess.
Judges 4:4. Deborah, "Judged Israel" she helped inspire Barak in conquering the Canaanites
Isaiah 8:3 Isaiah' s wife was a prophetess.
2 Kings 22:14 + 2 Chronicles 34:22. Huldah aided Hilkiah the priest in the reforms of Josiah.
Luke 2:36-38. Anna, the prophetess greeted her infant Lord Jesus.
Acts 21: 9 . Philip's four daughters were all prophets.

      Are there Biblical tests for a true prophet, test we can use to determine if they speak for God?
(1)  They will agree 100% with the law and the prophets [Isaiah 8:20}
(2) All their predictions will come to pass. [Deuteronomy 18:22]
(3) They will all bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit, Love, Joy, peace etc. [ Matthew 7:16]
(4) Every message will be centered in Christ Jesus [ 1 John 4:1-3]

NOTE: If any prophet fails in any of these tests, he or she is NOT a true prophet from God!

IS there a Commandment keeping, world-wide church, which has the gift of prophecy?

    YES, there is but one church, [yes it teaches that GOD has faithful saints in many other folds [churches] ] on this earth that fills all these Bible characteristics, the Seventh day Adventist Church.  It is a Commandment keeping, worldwide church, that has the gift of prophecy. Though relatively small in number, they are operating thousands of churches, schools and hospitals in just about every nation on earth. The S.D.A. Church has more missionaries going into every inhabited country on earth, including the North Pole, than any other Protestant group. In fact, 1 out of every 5 missionaries worldwide is a Seventh day Adventist.


Does this church have a Prophet?
       
    Ellen G. White, one of the founders of the S.D.A. Church, passes all the Biblical tests for a true Prophet. Although she never claimed the title of "Prophet" for herself. {She called her self but a messenger} She counseled the church for 70 years, while writing 15 million words, long hand, in producing over 50 books, more than any American woman to date. She received over 2,000 visions, and wrote them and taught them, yet she received but a 3rd grade education, while her command of the English was beyond reproach. She was Quoted quite frequently by news commentator Paul Harvey. Her writing still today, drives this Church ever closer to the Bible and to Jesus, whom she never failed to lift up.
Her Quote of many "You may have all the possessions of this world; but I must have Jesus." E.G. White, Testimonies to the Church vol 2. p. 592.  {no her books were NOT pamphlets!]

(C) It will be good stewards of the resources God has given them.
      2 Corinthians 9:7  "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
Note: It is considered a privilege for a Christian to give. Every resource is a gift from God, thus we are only returning to Him that which is all His, yet only 1/10th for Tithe.  Give cheerfully, or not all!

Are there then some offerings required?
     Malachi 3:8-10  "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Note: A tithe, or 10% of one's increase, wage or profit, is required from God's people to support the work of the gospel in His worldwide church. Tithing differs from free-will offerings, and is to be given in addition to these. God invites us to test Him in  this, to see if He will indeed pour out abundant blessing in our lives.
[(j.b.) To this fact I can personally attest to. Stuff we own, seldom needs repair, beyond normal maintenance, tires last much longer than ads claim, and gas mileage, is better for us than others with same vehicle, but newer. Clothing and shoes lasts much longer for us than neighbors, thanks be to GOD]

(E)  It will follow all Biblical guidelines.
      Does the Bible give guidelines on clothing and such?
     
       1 Peter 3:3-4  "Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."

Note: The Bible guides us not to show off our wealth, by the owning or wearing gold or jewels, to dress modestly, not to be proud, and become as a peacock. Jesus was humble both insides and out, He wants us to be the same way. Satan became the devil because of self pride, remember?

  What does the Bible say about jewels and wearing them?
    Isaiah 3:16-21 " Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:  Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.  In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, [ interwoven gold strands in hair, or even a gold hair-net]  and their round tires like the moon,  The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,  The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,  The rings, and nose jewels,"

Note: Some far East peoples wear all the families wealth on their person.

Exodus 33:5-6  "For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiff necked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb."
Note: Due to the dangers of pride, remember that was Satan 's demise, God asks us to take off anything that was decorating our bodies. Read Exodus 33:4-6 how this saved lives.

5. Does God expect me to be different that the world?
    2 Corinthians 6:15-18  "And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

Note: God has asks us to be separate from the world and the worldly. No to be eccentric but different..as Jesus was different form others, yet be fully credible.

6. Will there be Sunday keepers in haven? if so, why change?
     Acts 17:30  "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"

Note: God holds us accountable for the truth that we know, and for the truth we have the opportunity to know. He wants us us to know His truth so He can bring happiness to your lives. Once we know the truth, He asks us to repent of our previous wrongs.

7. Should I, or anyone, leave a church that doesn't follow the entire Bible?
     Revelation 18:4  "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

Note: What is your intellect, no not feelings, but intellect, telling you about the above verse? Stay where you are and receive what? "Her Plaques" but what are they?  Read of the seven plagues in Revelation 15 and 16 chapters, and stay "With her" and join Stan and all them, in the Lake of Fire!
   Is this harsh? OH yes it is, but then to, so is Eternal death compared to eternal life agree?
But. God gave each of us the gift of a free-will, so the matter and the choice is up to YOU! Chose life or death, both shall be forever!
