THE POLYGRAPH, is not the only tool used in lie detection. Said to be 100% accurate in certain conditions, the PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS EVALUATOR, or P.S.E., has been used by criminal investigators, reporters, and journalists. One of the claims attributed to this machine is that it could detect a lie, even if the person telling the lie doesn't know that he or she was telling a lie!
Journalist and author, Rene Noorbergen was able to acquire one of these P.S.A. machines for himself. He used it to gather information from audio recorded interviews with subjects he was researching. Wanting to see just how accurate his PSA was, he decided to interview himself, after loosing his car keys.
He asked himself, several questions about where he had lost his keys and recorded his voice. "Did you leave your keys in the car"? No", "Did you leave then in another pants pocket"? 'NO". "Did you leave them in the bedroom?" 'NO". When done he put his recorded questions and answers into the machine.
The PSE told him his answers were truthful, until the last one, keys in the bedroom. The machine had detected a strong micro-tremors in his voice, when he said no to his leaving keys in the bedroom. And sure enough, they were there. He'd forgotten that he placed them there, and took a nap on his bed.
Even though the PSE can accurately detect a lie in certain situations, it also has been known to fail in other cases. Is there a LIE DETECTOR that is be 100% trustworthy?
Yes, there is, it is YOUR BIBLE, and we are going to use it to find the truth about Revelation' s Forgotten Day!
1. DOES THE BIBLE SPEAK ABOUT GOD' S SPECIAL DAY?
Revelation 1:10. "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,"
Note: Many, if not most, Christians today assume that the LORD' S DAY, is the day of the "Venerable Sun" Because this "Tradition" dates back to 321 A.D. and Emperor Constantine' s degree, naming the first day of the week as the "Venerable day of the SUN god", and that it was to be a no-work day , but feast day! {he was the Sun-worshipers High Priest, as coins minted during his time in power, they had the Sun god on one side, with His profile, and the Cross on the other side, and many are still in existence
Could all this then be nothing more that Satan's attempt to deceive men? Due to the fact that NO WHERE in the Bible' s Scriptures call Sunday the Lord's day!! As for Satan's deceptions........
Revelation 12:9. "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
Could this then be part of his plan to deceive the world?
2. What in the Bible, is the LORD' s DAY?
Matthew 12:8. "For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day. " {Jesus Christ IS The Son of Man}
Isaiah 58:13. "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:"
Note: The Bible says, {never take the words of man/men for the Word of God, agree?] that the LORD does have a special day. Jesus said that HE is Lord of The Sabbath [Sabbaths -plural- are the Annual Sabbaths or Feast-days, and are never written of as The Sabbath singular!] The Bible calls The Sabbath God's "Holy Day."
3. Which day of the week is The Sabbath day?
Exodus 20:8-10. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:"
Note: Look at 99% of all normal calendars, and see that the 7th day (seventh day) is Saturday, thus the Bible' s Sabbath. Google or Wikipedia it as Sabbath or 7th day or look it up in most dictionaries. [even my Webster's pocket dictionary has Saturday as the seventh day, and it's smaller than most "pocket-books"!]
4. WHEN DID OUR CREATOR-GOD MAKE THE SABBATH DAY?
Genesis 2:1-3. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
NOTE: Ask yourself, "Why did God, make it so that we can read this this right near the very front of His Book? Do not most read a book from the the beginning? Plus , please tell this dummy, just what or why are these three simple verses so very hard to understand by so many people?
Note-2. The Sabbath was made at the very beginning of earth's history. when God created this world, and all that on and in it is. He made a Memorial of His Creation on the very first 7th day, for all humanity!
5. When does The Sabbath begin and end?
Genesis 1:5. "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." Genesis 1:31. "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
Mark 1:32. "And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils."
Note: God set the days from Sunset to sunset, but Rome changed this from midnight to midnight! Daniel 7:25.
6. How are we to keep the Sabbath holy?
Exodus 20:10-11. "But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." Isaiah 58:13-14. "If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."
Note: God has told us NOT do any work on the Sabbath, [no does not mean animals are not to be fed nor watered, nor not to fix a leaking roof of widow, but wait until the next day to replace the roof}. Does this mean we are not to ENJOY the Sabbath? NO! God says when we do HIS ways in place of ours, it will be a delight for us.
7. So why, is it that most "Christians" observe Sunday worship?
Mark 7:9. "And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."
Note: This "Tradition" of man has been with us for a long time, it began in Asia Minor, in the years between A.D.100-110, and was fully accepted by Rome in 300's A.D. and then world wide as all can read in Revelation 20:10. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
Note: If any teach, contrary to the Bible, they teach falsely! Take note of what GOD said: "2 Peter 2:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."
Note 2: They will bring what upon themselves?
8. But.....but was this Sabbath no just for the Israelite?
Mark 2:27. "And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
Isaiah 56:6-7. "Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people." [(j.b.) the underlined is mine]
Note: Man--- does this specify only a Jew, or any man within the human race? Please know the term Jew or all its related terms does not appear until the book of Ester, some 2,000 years after Creation!
9. Wasn't it changed to Sunday in honor of the Creation day and of the Resurrection?
Romans 6:4. "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
Note: The Bible speaks only of one thing to honor Christ' s resurrection. That is BAPTISM, not SUNDAY KEEPING, Baptism, to one old enough to understand the meaning of this action, as being Symbolic of HIS death, burial and resurrection,, by our burial/submersion in water, and the resurrection coming up from under the water, not just a few drops on a babe's forehead, who has no clue to what's going on nor its meaning!
10. But....but didn't the Sabbath end at Christ's death?
Matthew 24:15-20. "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
Note: This even was yet future by some 40, Jesus spoke these words to warn His followers about the events that DID take place in A.D.79 by Rome taking down the Temple, stone by stone and killing most Jews, while taking 1, million as slaves! No Follower of Jesus was killed or taken they fled, as told into the mountains! QUESTION: "WHY WOULD CHRIST TELL THEM TO PRAY THAT THIS EVENT WOULD NOT OCCUR ON A SABBATH, IF THE SABBATH' S HAD ENDED?"
11. Which SABBATH days ended at the Cross, Or Which Laws?
Colossians 2:14. "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Deuteronomy 31:26. "Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee."
Note: This was the hand written book by Moses as God dictated it to him, for the ORDINANCES OF THE FEAST DAYS, the Annual Sabbaths. This is the why no JEW since has needed to sacrifice a lamb, or any other thing. All God wants is your love! [Numbers 9:12 but The Ten Commandments were written on stone by His finger!
12. Were the Sabbath days in Colossians different from the Ten Commandment Sabbath?
Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ."
Note: The yearly Sabbaths were called a SHADOW of things to come. There were 6 of them every year, and they revolved, around meat and drink offerings etc. Leviticus 23:24-25. "Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD."
13. What does the Bible mean by a shadow of things to come?
Hebrews 10:1. "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect."
Note: The LAW that was a shadow was the law of Sacrifices [(j.b.) our sacrifice God desires is our love, and as we can NOT love an unknown, He sent you His Word, the 66 Love Letters from your Heavenly Father, who loves YOU. . .and me. . .so much that He gave His only begotten [means preeminent One] only to watch Him die for all sins. The yearlies began with an animal sacrifice, but the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments was, and is not now a shadow for nor of anything, it IS a Memorial pointing back to Creation, as a reminder of Whom the Creator is!
THE SIX YEARLY SABBATHS (differ from the weekly... The Sabbath)
(1) Passover [wrongly called Easter] Numbers 28:16. (2) Unleavened Bread Numbers 28:17.
(3) Pentecost Exodus 23:16; 34:22. Num. 28:26; Acts 2:1. (4) Feast of Trumpets Num. 29:1.
(5) Day of Atonement [at one with] Num.29:7. (6) Feast of Tabernacles Ex. 23:16; Leviticus 23:34.
These YEARLY SABBATHS, laws ended when Jesus came and died on the Cross, as the Ultimate and Perfect Sacrifice, thus fulfilling the part of of the Passover Over Lamb. These laws and ordinance were hand written by Moses-- 2 Chronicles 33:8. "Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses." And placed in the side of the Ark... Deuteronomy 31:24-26. "And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee."
NOTE: When one tells you "They are under grace and not the Law, because it was nailed to His Cross, ask them which law, the Ceremonial or the The Ten Commandments Law? Only the latter was done away with fulfilled in Christ's sacrifice for all, for all time.
14. Which day did Jesus keep Holy?
Luke 4:16. "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
1 John 2:6. "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
Note: Should not all Christians walk in the same paths as Jesus walked, and NOT as "Traditions"; of men? WHY? Ephesians 4:5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism,"
NO. not the 1,000's of "Denominations", [the root meaning of this word as per Collegiate Dictionaries? Divide! SELAH, think!
Is our Saturday the same day as Jesus kept, or have we lost track of time?
March 12, 1932, U.S. Navel Observatory.....an answer from Director James Robertson, in a letter asking this same question:
"The Specialists in chronology have never found the slightest doubt about the continuity of the weekly cycle since long before the Christian era..There has been no change in our calendar, in the past centuries that has effected in any way the cycle of the week."
Note: Yes there was a change in the days of the year during the rule of Pope Gregorio [ Gregory] X111 in the 1500's when we went from the Julian [Caesar] calendar of B.C.44 to the Gregorian, in the which they dropped 10 days going from the 5th of October to the 10th the nest day, but the DAYS of WEEK stayed the same, the Seventh day remained on Saturday and Sun-day was still the First day of the week, as it has always been! The Holy Bible named but three (3) days ONLY, Preparation day [6th day) Sabbath day (7th day) and the (1st day) Sun-day so named after the Sun god, as is Moon-day, Thursday was {Thor's day] etc,. all named after Pagan gods and goddesses!
15. Which day did the Disciples keep Holy?
Luke 23:55-56. "And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulcher and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment. Luke 24:1-2. "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher"
NOTE: Jesus had died, and then rose up right at predawn, now PLEASE take read to read this passage, as it proves the day of the Sabbath, beyond any doubts, agree?
16. Which day did Paul, the single biggest contributor to the size of the New Testament, keep Holy?
Acts 17:2. "And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,"
Note: This book's full name: "The Acts [Actions] of the Apostles"
Acts 18:4. "And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks."
NOTE: Does or does this verse not nullify the human argument of: "The Sabbath Saturday is for the Jews only"? The Greeks were and still are Gentiles, agree?
17. Which day did the early Gentiles believer keep Holy?
Acts 13:42. "And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath."
Note: They asked Paul, what?????
18. Will God' s end time saints be keeping His Sabbath?
Revelation 12:17. "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Hebrews 4:9. "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God."
Note: The Hebrew word Sabbath...SABBISMOS Sab-bat-is-mos' means REST! Thus a 24 hour rest in Jesus Christ, to unplug from the world, and to give all one's cares and worries to Christ, in loving praise and worship and prayer!
Genesis 11:7. "Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one an other's speech."
NOTE: Remember the story of the Tower of Babel, where Nimrod did not trust God, to not ever bring a world=wide flood again, they built a tower for themselves for their NAME and safety? God then confused all humans languages, so that only small groups could communicate? Yet STILL TODAY over 80 of earths over 280 languages and dialects, their local word for Saturday is also their word for REST! Can men call this a Co-incidence, yes or no? SELAH [think and chew on this for a while]
19. Will HIS Saints keep the Sabbath in Heaven?
Isaiah 66:22-23. "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Note: The Bible' s teaching is clear, right? All shall keep the Sabbath worship even in Heaven! Plus take out you Bible and read the last verse in this chapter of Isaiah
BUT. . . .but should we not ALL keep His Sabbath now? Your answer?
