L. # 3. "SATAN WILL IMPERSONATE JESUS CHRIST."

       2 Corinthians 11:14  "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light."

      In her marvelous book, "The Great Controversy," by Ellen White, please find this prediction in focus on Pages 624-625. 
     "Fearful sights of a supernatural character will soon be revealed in the heavens, in token of the power of miracle-working demons. The spirits of devils will go forth to the kings of the earth and to the whole world, to fasten then in deception and urge them on to unite with Satan "[(j.b.) and his chosen power system run by men]. "In his struggle against the government of Heaven. By these agencies, rulers and subjects will be alike deceived. Persons will arise pretending to be christ Himself [ (j.b.) as of this writing, there are one such in Florida, another in Mexico City and another in Rio, in Brazil, and the last in S. Africa, all doing very well financially, thank you!]Persons will arise [remember she wrote this in the mid 1890's!] , and claiming the title and worship which belongs to the world's Redeemer. They will perform wonderful miracles of healing, and will profess to have revelations from Heaven contradicting the testimony of the Scriptures."
      "As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will impersonate Christ. The church has long professed to look to the Savior's Advent as the consummation of her hopes. Now the great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come. In different parts of earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the Son of  god, given by John in Revelation."   Cont:
     Revelation 1:13-17  "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.  His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:"

Cont: " The glory that surrounds his is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld. The shout of triumph rings out upon the air,  'Christ has come" Christ has come!' The people prostate themselves in adoration before him, while he lifts up his hands, and pronounces a blessing upon them, as Christ blessed His disciples when He was upon the earth. His voice is soft and subdued, yet full of melody."
     In gentle, compassionate tones he presents some of the gracious, heavenly truths which the Savior uttered; he heals the diseases of people, and then, in  his assumed character of Christ, he claims to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday [ (j.b.) now think of which church also claims to have the power to change the Sabbath, hint look to Rome, Italy]  and, commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed. He {Satan] declares that those who persist in keeping holy the the Seventh day are blaspheming his name by refusing to listen to his angels sent to them with light and truth. This is the strong, almost overmastering delusion. Like the Samaritans, who were deceived by Simon Magus.
[from whom we have the term 'Simony', the one man who tried to buy the power sent through Christ's apostles, and wound up in the employment of Nero]. The multitudes from the least to the greatest, give heed to these sorceries, saying This is 'the great power of God'. "  Cont:
     Acts 8:9-11  "But there was a certain man, called Simon, which before time in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries."

Cont: "But the people of God will not be misled. The teachings of this false christ are not in accordance with Scriptures. His blessings are pronounced upon the worshipers of the beast and his image, the very class upon whom the Bible declares that God's unmingled wrath shall be poured out."

     "And, furthermore, Satan is not permitted to counterfeit the manner of Christ's Advent. [ remember when Jesus returns again, HIS feet WILL NOT touch this earth, His own will meet Him in the clouds, Satan WILL NOT be able to do this as God will NOT allow it!] The Savior has warned His people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of His coming! .........
      Matthew 24:23-27  "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Note: Please know that in this chapter, Matthew 24, Christ warned about deceptions, as above, but also "Let no man deceive you"... in Verses: 4,26,23 and note vs.28,29.......
      Matthew 24:28-29  "For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"

NOTE: Upon His return, ALL those who rejected and or opposed Him shall perish, at His sight! The "EAGLES" above, should read 'vultures', as there shall be only Satan and his fallen angels left alive and they will not dirty their hands to bury anyone, and they shall be in total darkness, without any light from the heavens, including the Sun, so tempts will equal that of space -485 degrees F. This will last 1,000 years, on this very earth! Second change? No chance! Remember "Let no man deceive you by any means. learn God's Word for your self!" No, not even this man, check me out on all facts given against the Bible!   WHY?

       "Only those who have been diligent students of Scriptures, [ Isaiah 28:9-10 ] , and who have received the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive to Satan. By the Bible testimony these will detect the deceivers in his disguise"

     Friend, are Y O U  so firmly grounded and established upon the Word of God, that Y O U would not yield to this , his delusion? If ever we needed to draw nearer and nearer to Christ, this IS the time. Let's study His Word: Let's emulate His life, let His power and His life shield us from these mighty delusions in these last days, is my prayer for Y O U !
