L.# 2. A GENUINE AND COUNTERFEIT REVIVAL.

     
       YOUR BIBLE, and mine, predicts a revival of genuine religion---due to the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit as was seen on the day of Pentecost. Thousands will be thoroughly converted to Christ in a day ....

      Revelation 18:1  "And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory."

     Despite satanic efforts to cover the earth in darkness by means of revolution, or the war of Jihad, crimes satanic music, lust, greed, and self-pleasing,  and excitements, destruction of the earth, God is going to set this world ablaze with Glorious Light of His Saving Truth!
     At the very moment when the Popular churches are uniting [back into the "Mother Church" of Rome,} because of their spiritual weakness and the forming of a world-wide religious conglomerate that the Bible designates as "Babylon" [meaning confusion] . God's world-wide message announces that ....
     Revelation 18:2  "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird."
Note: If you've ever had a pet bird in a cage, you'll know the meaning of the ending of the above verse, when they need to "go", they go, even in water or food dish, right? Thus via their "Confusions" they have befouled their selves!
     Yet even where spiritual darkness and worldliness exists, in the churches that make up Babylon, the great body of Christ's true followers are still to be found in their communion.  WHY?
     Christ,. our Eternal Judge, judges our hearts, UP TO the amount of truth we each have received!
     Straight from the heart of the soul-winner Christ Jesus, comes this cry....
     Revelation 18:4  "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
     Thousands from these fallen Churches, will come forth, to accept Christ and His teaching, as written, and come back to the standard of righteous living.

                               THE COUNTERFEIT REVIVAL.

     Just BEFORE, this mighty Heaven led revival of primitive godliness breaks forth, a counterfeit revival will spread like wild-fire throughout Christendom. In this "spiritual awakening" will be much power seen. Miracles will be wrought, the sick will  {appear] be healed [Ah- La Benny Hinn]  and many undeniable  wonders shall be performed.
   Note: ever noticed the increasingly more and more Mary Images appearing all over earth? Or the stigmatic happenings, and all the wood and stone idols that bleed blood or purest of olive oil? That my friends is the works of Satan, deceiving powers at work!  Making it appear that God's Special blessings is poured out in these Churches!
     There will be manifest what is thought to be great religious interest. Millions will claim that God is working the "Baptism of the spirit", and are "speaking in Tongues", they claim when the works are that of of another spirit, that is not holy!
     Here's what the apostle John had to say about spirits.....
     1 John 4:1-2  "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:"
    Again he wrote:...Revelation 16:13-14  "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."

                               PENTECOSTALISM.
    
       A rapidly growing religious phenomenon among all major sections of Christendom is Pentecostalism. No longer confined to the small Pentecostal groups, the "Charismatic Movement" ,  in now also becoming widespread within the Catholic and many other, even conservative Churches! It can be identified by the practice of "Speaking in Tongues," or as most refer to this today, "Speaking and or Praying in the Spirit, but its still GLOSSOLALIA,[which is still gibberish, no matter how easily it rolls of the tongues of its practitioners like Kenneth Copeland, and the like! You see most people want to see something, feel something, and this stuff allows one to do both. Years ago they were derided as "Holy Rollers" due to some actually rolled around the floors,  thinking they were "IN THE SPIRIT"! ( they were, but not a Holy spirit!)
     
    So, how can we tell the genuine from the counterfeit? Let's not ever forget that "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17.
     Faith rest NOT upon our feelings, nor by what we see others doing, however elevating and Spirit-filled that may be for us. Our salvation rest totally and fully, as well as ONLY upon Christ Jesus and our experience with His Spirit within us! It is our knowing what God has done of us, that faith begins and grows only by His powers and our own desire to learn more and more within His word! Yet no matter the experiences we have, even if they have taken us emotionally to the mountain tops, we still know that our experience cannot save us or recommend us to God.

     But this wave of Pentecostalism the EXPERIENCE becomes the all-absorbing point of this "religion".Faith then rests upon wonders and feelings, and the "Speaking in Tongues', things that the worshipers can sensibly experience, known for "Seeing is Believing", is the cry! And why Catholic Mass is such a show of color and pageantry, and ritual, that Hollywood can take a lesson from it! [(jb) seeing that this town is Satan headquarters, they have taken note]

      But a true Christ man or woman, must live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. We must not decide nor judge by what we see or hears or feels.Jesus said:
     Matthew 24:24  "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

     We are told in 2 Thessalonians 2:9 that the last day before Christ's return Satan will work....
    2 Thessalonians 2:9 " Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,"     [(j.b.) the HIM is Christ Jesus here]
     
     We are told as well, that near the final days, of judgment many will come to Christ saying...
   
   Matthew 7:22-23  "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. "

     So what must humans do?
      Matthew 7:21  "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. "
     
    But what is The Father will?
     Ecclesiastes 12:13  "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
    
     John 16:7-13  "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

    In "Pentecostalism" you find an utter perversion of God's truth. It makes the baptism of the Spirit the end, and Christ only a means to that end. Jesus said of the Holy Spirit;....
       
      John 16:14-15  "He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."
