   1 Timothy 2:5 " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; "

 John Wesley, one of the great Reformers actually preached here, in this same KIRK, proving it was a Protestant Church, long before it was converted to Romanism!  In it's fullest regalia, with it's tall candles, Icons, and pictures of the naked Savior on the Cross! Plus of course Mary figures and paintings up the eyeballs!

    So to the people of Scotland I ask Why? What happened? What did all YOUR ANCESTORS die for? They died for naught it seems, so how desecrating , Their memories and deaths, are you allowing to occur, and all without a whimper or fuss? That is NOT the Scots of history!  But then this is the fact world-wide is it not? Whatever happened to our Protestant Pastors, Laymen and Deacons, world-wide? Have they ALL got a spine of over-cooked noodles? What do these Bible passages mean to each of you?

    Matthew 24:4  "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."
Note Jesus repeated this warning three times in this chapter!

    2 Thessalonians 2:3-5  "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?"

   Little wonder, that many say that 90+ % of Christians are today practising Catholics! Worship the Pope on the Venerable day of the Sun-god Sunday!

And forasmuch as muy hand offended, writing contrary to my heart, my hand shall firs be punished therefore; for, may I come to the fire, it shall first be burned; and as for the pope, I refuse hem, as Christ's enemy, and antichrist, with all his false doctrines."......Cont.

NOTE: Please if you question this, take their Little Book of Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, and with any HOLY BIBLE check out their doctrines against the The Word of God, and you'll find they mostly use the words of Man! In fact they are on public record, in voice and print saying they hold their own written words by the "FATHERS" as superior the the Holy Bible! At they have this one point in Common with the Mormons. whose founder held HIS BOOK "The Book of Mormon" to be superior to the Bible!

So how big an ego would this need?

Note: How many today have this kind of conviction? This kind of TRUST IN CHRIST? As no human by, and within self, can hold their hands into the flames and not remove it!

In 12/06/2006 in EKKLESIA NEWS BRIEF, Pope Benedict XVI assertion of Primacy a "Problem," for Protestants.
   "Peter's responsibility thus consists of a guaranteeing the communion with christ." said the Pope, "Let's pray so that the primacy of Peter, entrusted to poor human beings, may always be exercised in this original sense desired by the lord. So that it will be increasingly recognised in its true meaning by brothers [sic] who are still not in communion with us."

Note: Sorry Sir, but until and unless YOU and your kingdom begin to place the Bible as your only and primary source of truth, Bible believers will not commune with you and your kingdom beyond opposing it! 

ZENIT: THE WORLD SEEN FROM ROME.

Vatican city, March 8, 2007. [Zenit org] Already in the first century, Popes excercised their primacy over other Churches, Benedict XVI says.
   " The Church is above all, a gift of God {OK is this why they murdered millions in their "believe as we say or die"?} and not a creature of ours", the Pope contended, "and therefore this sacramental structure not only guarantees the common order [only a common order as per Rome's will] but also the precedence of the gift of God that we all need."

NOTE: SACRAMENT: There are seven within this system: (1) Baptism.  (2) Confirmation. (3) Holy Eucharist. (4) Penance . (5) Extreme Unction. (6) Holy Orders. (7) Matrimony.
Only 1,7 and a partial 4 are spoken of in the Bible. Repent is not PENANCE which is a works, repentance, is a change of heart , to return to God's ways! Thus the sacrament is mostly of human origin and traditions of men!  Thus Blasphemy!P.67 chapter II, The sacraments by Peter Geierimann's book The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine.

Most of us know something about a little Scotty, a dog named Greyfriars Bobby, right? In 1858 this faithful dog followed his master's remains to the Greyfriars churchyard and lingered there until he followed his ,master is death in 1872. That's 14 years that he stayed by his master's grave site, being fed only by strangers!. He laid on his master's grave all those years ending at the dogs 16th year. There is a marker attesting to this little dog's faithfulness, which is greater than most humans!

I'll make a safe wager, that few have ever heard of Jenny Geddes of 1637. Well in those days few churches has pews, so each person brought their own little three or four legged stool to sit on. Now when the clandestine Church leaders began to introduce the Catholic liturgy into the services, Jenny shouted: "What are Ye trying to do in my Kirk? And she picked up her stool and threw it at the prelates, as did many others, and the church leaders ran out in fear for their lives!
  This action,  in the Church of St. Giles, led to the creation of the National Covenant.It was in this KIRK, that John Knox said said, " Give me a Free Scotland or I die"..

Those trying to introduce the Mass in Scotland at that time can be seen as written of thusly.....

   It was John Knox, who was told af the passage in the Bible that told us to obey our kings and magistrates, and that's true. But when their laws are contrary to God's Laws we all must or should rather obey God's Laws. Here's how John Knox put it.....

    "True it is that God hath commanded kings to be obeyed, but like truth it is, that in things which they commit against His glory or when cruelly without cause they rage against their brethren, the member of Christ's body, He hath commanded no obedience. Rather He hath approved you, yea, and greatly apposed themselves to their ungodly commandments and blind rage."

    .Acts 5:29 " Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."
       Luke 18:7-8 " And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?"

    {AA [Acts of the Apostles]  431.2] God desires His people to prepare for the soon-coming crises. Prepared or unprepared, they must all meet it: and those only who have bought their lives into conformity to the divine standard, will stand firm at the time of test and trail. When secular rulers unite with ministers of religion to dictate in matters of conscience, then it will be seen who really fear and serve God. When the darkness is deepest, the light of a godlike character will shine the brightest. When every other trust, fails, then it will be seen who have an abiding trust in Jehovah. And while the enemies of truth are on every side, watching the lord's servants for evil, god will watch over them for good, He will be to them as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land."

     Revelation 2:10  "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Note: Spiritism is such that the evil ones allow you to see something wispy, and feel something, and even taste and smell something, but the Holy Spirit will not ever do these things!

Note: How , pray tell, can one be "HOLY" by breaking the 4th Commandment and worshiping the on the day of the Venerable Sun-god day... Sundays?

      Hebrews 10:30  "For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people."

    Hebrews 10:38-39  "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul."

NOTE: If any person shrinks back from the truth/light of God, due to whatever reason, it shall be 7 times more problematic for them than before!

      Hebrews 12:25  "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:"

   Let's go to St. Paul's Cathedral in London  England. It USED to be Anglican, but now it fully Roman Catholic, and has been RENOVATED inside and out, to a little smaller version of St. Peters in Rome itself! But even before the the renovations began, Veith took photographs of many of the Masonic and occultist symbols that had been installed years ago!   At his 2nd visit, there was this very long quay, and he wondered of the why? Asking questions to the "Gate-Keeper"  he found that it cost 10. pounds Sterling, or about 140 Rand [S. African dollers] and that's a lot of money for look see, right?  So when he then asked for this amount of money can I receive an Indulgence from the church, just as their Mother Church?  They were not amused!

NOTE: To the readers, who have read most of my posts, they may remember, a Dominican Monk named Tetzel, who was a contemporary of a Priest named Martin Luther, and Tetzel's pitching the selling of these indulgences, was the straw that broke Luther's Catholic faith.Tetzel's pitch, "Each coin drops into this box, is another souls flying up out of Purgatory and into heaven"
Of course what few knew, he'd get his share, the local authorities theirs, and bulk of it would go the the Rebuilding of the St. Peter's Cathedral, as the Vatican had run out of funds!

NOTE: This Little Horn Power is STILL today selling Indulgences, and for the same reasons plus this twist, if you wish to sin, you can buy and indulgence to gain the Church's forgiveness before the fact!

More that three centuries of emancipation, from the yoke of Rome-- Three hundred years of Bible Light and Liberty-- had made us over-confident, and led us to under-estimate the power and influence of the deadliest foe, not only of the gospel of God, but also Protestant England. NOTE:  In 1798, on the pretext of a murdered French citizen, Napoleon invaded the Vatican, taking the Pope prisoner, and disbandment her powers a Sovereign Nation. This was reversed in 1929 by Gaspari and Benito Mussolini.. With this the Vatican again, became a Sovereign Nation ruled by its Emperors,  The Popes, who rules this 1o4 Acre territory as a King. Thus "Little Horn"! As horn is symbolic of power/Kings.

   Most of have some knowledge of about Scotland's Green-Brier Scottie, a Scotty dog whose master passed on and was buried in the Church grounds, and this dog spent the rest of many years, laying on its master's grave. Many people fed this dog over the years, but this church is known also for this plague, and what this membership stood for:

    "Halt Passenger, take heed what you see, This tomb doth shew for what men did die. Here lies interr'd the dust of those who stood Against perjury, resisting unto blood; Adhering to the covenants, and laws Establishing the same; which was the cause Their lives were sacrific'd unto the lust Of Prelates abjured.   But as for them, no cause was found Worthy of death {the priests who killed them were not held for justice} but only they were found, Constant and steadfast zealous witnessing For the prerogatives of Christ their King. Which Truths were seal'd by famous Guthrie's head. And all along to Mr. Renwick's blood They did endure the wrath of enemies, Reproaches, torments, deaths and injuries, But yet they're those who came from such trouble, And now triumph in glory with the LAMB."
   "From May 27th, 1661 that the most noble Marquis of Argyle was beheaded, to 17th of February 1688 that Mr. James Renwick suffered; were one way or the other Murdered and Destroyed for the same cause,
 about Eighteen Thousand of whom were execute at Edinburgh, about an hundred Nobleman, Gentlemen, Ministers and Others; noble Martyrs for Jesus CHRIST. The most of them lie here."

   For particular account of the cause and manner of their suffering are the Cloud of Witnesses, Crookshank's and Defoe Histories.

This honors those who were murdered, because the accepted and believed in the Holy Bible!  Yet please know, that all over the world, where-ever Catholicism ruled, most of the memorials, and statues honoring the murdered martyrs of Protestantism, have been torn down, or vandalized to nearly unreadable conditions.  However know there's no SECRETS TO GOD!

So covering a period of these 27 years, where the English kings, all of whom died confessing their Catholic Faith, tried in vain to to kill the Protestant's movement! Following Rome's EDICT:  Believe as we say or die!"  Is this not the same M.O. if the Muslim Extremists,  today?

     Revelation 6:10  "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

     WHAT reasons were there for all these murders? In a word . . . POWER . . . pure raw power, of one group of men over the other, and the same reason for this claim yet today....

Q:Which are the inherent Attributes of a Divine Church?
A: The inherent Attributes of a divine Church are four:     AUTHORITY, INFALLIBILITY, INDEFECTIBILITY AND NECESSITY.

Q: WHAT do these Attributes mean?
A: These Attributes mean that the true Church must:    (1)  be authorized to act in the name of God;
    (2) Be preserved by Him from error;     [is it with God's approval that millions were killed?] 
    (3) Last until the end of time;
    (4) Be the gate to heaven for all of good will. 

Biblically and historically only the number three above is correct! Yet upon what does this Little Horn Power rest upon?    Again on page 25.... John 20:21. in their won book.

    John 20:21  "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you."

Note: The YOU here, are ALL those who accept Christ, as their Personal Savior, and Jesus told ALL such, to share His love with all others!  How much love is shown by their "BELIEVE AS I SAY OR DIE"?

    History speaks to many CLANDESTINE Protestant RULERS,,  in both England and Scotland, who upon their death-bed reverted back to Catholicism!
To which the Scots said: "NEVER, we have but one King Jesus Christ"! for this many 1,000's were put to death!  They spoke as, "We will not have a Pope, nor a King acting as a Pope, for we have a King in Jesus Christ!"

Note: OH! Wish that we were of the same mind!  As all the wars between England and Scotland,  during these times, were over the Supremacy of Christ, as King!

   Ecclesiastes 1:9  "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

When they rounded up the Bible Believers, they put them all into the Church yard and locked iron gates, in the middle of winter. Many died from exposure, as the catholics were not choosy, they took all of all ages and sexes! What the cold and hunger did not kill, they burned at the stake in Edinburg.

The Movies such as "Braveheart" never touched the religious aspects, yet the wars, "Of the
ROSES" ,  "The 100 Year War,"  in our revised, {meaning cleaned-up}History of today never touch the fact it was people who rejected the Popish ideas of relics, of idol statues, of Rome's Traditions, being superior to the Holy Bible!  As it was then, and still is thus. . . TODAY!

    Note:  Today, we have our youths, who give us the middle finger, at the mere mention of Christianity, yet they are full afraid to do the same towards Islam, so they have fully forgotten the huge price in blood that was paid to remove us from Rome's yoke! Because all they have today is evolution's emptiness and hopelessness!

   However, what do we find, in this blood stained square, that has the Monument in the place where so many were burned alive?
   Well there are Tattoo parlors, Comic Book store sell all types of todays in fashion comics,  "DEAD HEAD COMICS" you take it from there!   Venus Fly Trap Tattoo,, many having Denimology tattoos available, and then there's "The Witchcraft shop,  all this stuff around this Memorial,  as IF SATAN was rubbing it in the fact that the Reformation is defeated and dead! Thus it it HIS Chosen Church that is the winner?  You must know Heaven will not allow that to stand! The END shall come!

    Daniel 2:45  "Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure."

Note: At that point in time, there shall be no more any man-made kingdoms on earth!

     1 Samuel 15:23 " For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

    NOTE: MAY I POSE THIS QUESTION: "What was it, that millions of people through all these Dark Ages, did not hesitate to surrender their lives, in FAITH in Christ Jesus, and today most think it was all for nothing?  DO YOU?

In 1637 a little Lady Jenny Geddes, created an "INCIDENT"  that lead to the creation of the National Covenant. . She threw a chair, as in those days there were no pews, so each carried a little "Stool" to sit on. This happened in St. Giles Church.  The "Clandestine "Protestant "  King, and he set to change the order of services in Scotland, to a more "Catholic Liturgy,"  and with the Catholic Prelates began to introduce the Mass, in Protestant Scotland!
   Not with Jenny there, she shouted "What do you think you are doing in my KIRK? And she threw her stool at them! All the rest of the those present did the same thing!  This is the very same "KIRK" [church] that John Knox pastored in!

   John Knox was placed before Merry Queen of the Scots, {no not "Bloody Mary"of England} telling him,
"Marie;;; 'Ye are not the Kirk that I will nourish, I will defend the Kirk of Rome for I think it is the true kirk of God."
John:   "Your will, Madfam, is no reason; neither doth your thought make that Roman Harlot to be the true and immaculate spouse of Jesus Christ."

Note: John Knox is standing and looking a a Queen that with one word, could have put him to death!

These people had spines, and they stood for what they believed on in faith which is but total trust! Today? Well we as a nation stand for all that is evil, in God's eyes! Yet we think of self as wize and cool, right?  Well so does Satan!

Today far too many, have their veins full of drugs, not knowing where they are going nor where they come from!

  Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

   1 Peter 4:15-19 "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator."

This is how John Knox spoke about this subject:

     "True it is that God hath commanded kings to be obeyed, but the like it is, that in things which they commit against His glory or when cruelly without cause they rage against their brethren, the members of christ's body, He hath commanded no obedience. Rather He hath approved, yea, and greatly rewarded such as have apposed themselves to their ungodly commandments and blind rage."


NOTE: Those reformers had a lot of "bark" on them, to speak such topics, that could have made kings send out a death warrants to them!

His l;ast words recorded was a prayer:  "And so I end. Rendering my troubled and sorrowful spirit in the hands of the Eternal God earnestly trusting as His good pleasure to be freed from the cares of this miserable life and to rest with Christ Jesus my only hope and life."

Note: These people ALL had the power FROM Jesus Christ, to be able to stand for His cause!


    Moreover Protestantism-- priceless as have been the benefits it has conferred on those who have joined its ranks--is yet very far from being the perfect recovery of Primitive Christianity. t has risen our of gross ignorance and superstition of Mediaeval Romanism; it has altogether abandoned the idolatry of image worship, virgin worship, saint worship, and the adoration of the priest-made wafer deity of the Latin Mass; it has recovered a purer faith and a simples ritual, and secured for the church a measure of liberty and independence; above all, it has circulated the Scriptures in the vulgar tongues of the nations of of Christendom, and has adopted as its motto "The Bible, The whole Bible and nothing but the Bible." but it has never completely purified itself from Romanist doctrines and practice. It has never regained complete independence of secular domination, it has never got clear of union with the world.  CONT:

Now before you begin to shout, I ask,  WHO transferred the solemnity of the the 7th day Sabbath to the first day of the week, but Rome?

Note: ONLY those who have accepted christ in honest faith/trust, will have His strength to be able to stand against this evil.

Note: Make evil as good: does this not cover the so-called Mercy -Killings the MD assisted suicides? Or how about the 60 millions abortion we have preformed in the U.S alone? No wonder Social Security is going broke, we have destroyed the combined populations of all the Pacific coast states and few others included! That number is greater than the total population of France!

NOTE:   Of the 12 Disciples of Jesus, how many died a natural death?  ONLY ONE! John, and he was was cast into a vat of boiling oil, but God protected him, in order for him to be put on a prison island, Patmos, so that he could write the the last and FINAL Bible's Book "The Revelations of Jesus Christ."
Paul was beheaded, Peter was crucified upside down.
The huge amount of blood shed by satan and crew, will not ever be full known, nor appreciated until the saints menter Heaven!

      1 Kings 18:17-18  "And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim."

Note:  Do not ever subject the Law of God to another god, the ruins if this temple are still with us today,

      1 Kings 18:19-21  "Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word."

Note: The people did what? "Answered him not a word" I guess, they were to ashamed?   Please know this was during the time that Jezebel was the Queen and she led the nation to Baalim the sun god, and they worshiped the sun!  As for today's Sunday worship over the Chosen by God day for the Sabbath, the 7th day of the week rather than the first day, guess who all Sunday worshiper actually worship?  It's NOT GOD!

     2 Kings 9:30  "And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window."

     2 Kings 9:33-35  And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot. And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter. And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands."

        The Prophet had told that she would be killed but not much was left to bury her!

The Second Elijah:

    Matthew 17:10-13  "And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist."

Elijah story was then a type,  and fulfillment in the anti-type then in Christ's return, we have the fulfillment of the type and and the anti-type in Christ.

   Matthew 3:1-5   "In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." CONT:

We art today living in the Judgment times.

    CONT:  " For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leather girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, "

      Matthew 3:6-9  "And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham."

Note: "..we have Abraham to our father..."   Sorry, there is no salvation available for nationality, nor genealogy, nor member ship in a particular church!  Salvation is only for those willing to do The Father's will!

Note: Remember John the Baptist, rebuked Herod, for taking his brother4's wife as his own? Is this a sin?  YES!
      Matthew 14:1-5  "At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,  And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.  For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife. For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her. And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet."

Note: The Bible does not, call Herodias as Herod's wife, but wife of his brother! So here we have a ruler, women, a sinner, and a daughter who si move evil that her,  Mother. Plus we have God's law being broken again here.

Then Salome danced before Herod....

    Matthew 14:6-8  "But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.  Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask. And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger."

Note: We have now  several stories an d now lets go to this power....

     THE LITTLE HORN POWER:
   DANIEL 7:25. "... HE WILL THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS..."

Note: Horn in the Bible is symbolic of human power systems such a nation and or its king: Today the Vatican is 104 acre Sovereign Nation, Can you see why the Bible called it a Little Horn?

Note: Remember from the Egyptian Pharaoh, asking Moses, "Who is this God that I should obey His voice"?  Is this not the very same thinking from the Vatican then and now?

Thus we see Carved relief of Daagon's priests, with their fish-mouth hats, and Daagon was a fish-god, we see Rome today using the same hats.Plus from Babylon whose Queen Astarte {EASTER?}as Queen of heaven {Rome's Mary] with her fertility symbols of rabbits and eggs, {Easter bunnies and eggs?] Plus the Daagon priest carving showed them holding a Pine cone, and look at the Popes staff, it has a carved pine cone, plus in the Pine Cone court of the Vatican stands a the world's largest bronze Pine cone 7 feet tall!  No wonder they hold their own writings [ Traditions}  above the Bible!
Why many say they are more Pagan than Christian in belief! It is from the Assyrians that they "Borrowed" all these things, including the "Holy Water" ideas!

NOTE: Now I ask you dear reader, "Exactly how much of Daagon, can a Christian put into a Christian Temple, before it becomes totally PAGAN? Especially when you have relegated the God's Holy Word, to be in back of your own past leader's writings?  How much of Christ is left? In view of their TRANSUBSTANTIATION ceremonies, the Mass? Which they claim they actually bring Jesus back again and again to die for sins!

     Revelation 17:4-6  "And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."

Note: Ther4e3 is not another Religio-civil power on earth, that fits these markers, given to the Vatican!

      Revelation 13:4-5  "And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."

Note: Have they not placed God's law into the temple of Dagon?

MITHRA- MITHRAICS:

Note: Both are very true, just as he made man on the 6th day, so why don't we worship God of Friday as do the Islamists? There is not one hint on any verse giving man the power to change the Christian day of worship from the Bible's 7th day, Saturday's Sabbath's!  Read Daniel 7 :25, and the Exodus 20:8-11!

IBID  "Calendar"   The theologians at Nicaea also applied another anti-Semitic rule: "In order to prevent the festival from coinciding with the Jewish Passover or with the celebration of the Quartodecimans, special provision was made, should the full moon actually occur on a Sunday, to defer the celebration of Easter until the n43ext Sunday."

Note: This event actually occurred in 2001. Full moon fell on Sunday, 8th  April which coincided with the Jewish Passover, EASTER WAS THEREFORE delayed for a week and celebrated Sunday April 15th!
Is it not INTERESTING THAT  POPE JOHN PAUL II, JUST HAPPENED TO ORDER THIS SAME thing?

Thus we see the clear trail of errors here, the Pagan Romans used Sunday to worship their Sun-god, and Roman Christians, just followed suit!  So SUNDAY WORSHIPERS WHOM DO YOU WORSHIP ON  SUNDAYS?????

Edict of Constantine 321 A.D.  "On the venerable day of the Sun let the Magistrates and people residing in the cities rest, and let all the workshops be closed."


NOTE:  This law decree by Constantine was NOT in and of itself, a ANTI- SABBATH LAW. Unlike the Pharaoh of Egypt during The time of Moses, He forced them to work on the Sabbath, and then the the Plaques hit!    However in A.D 360 we have this order...

COUNCIL OF LAODICEA, CANON 29. 

     "CHRISTIANS SHALL NOT JUDAIZE [keep the Sabbath] and be idle on Saturday [original Sabbath] but shall work on that day but the lord's day they shall especially honor."

Is this law not only an ANTI-SABBATH LAW but also a Sunday Worship law all into one!

Note: Now you know the why they say this was the most significant law they made in the 3rd century!

If you go on the web to the Lateran Church, were all but last few Popes were crowed, and where ALL Popes speak when they speak EXCATERAH  look for the details in the carvings of the Phoenix bird rising from the flames, and Triple Crown over the Crossed Keys, the keys to both heaven and hell!  Over the words:  Sacros-Lateran- ecllesomnivm mater et capvt. As best as I can translate it says:  "Sacred Lateran Church the mother church."
Facing the Plaza "Piazza San Giovanni , Laterno, Italy which holds in its center a 106.6 foot Obelisk first carved by Tuthmosis III, [THE PHARAOH OF THE EXODUS!] and finally erected by his Grand son Tuthmosis 1V but was THE ONLY obelisk ever put up in Karnak Temple area. NOTE:  This Pharaoh of the Exodus, what did he do within the religion of Egypt? HE put RAH, the sun-god at the top tier god of gods.Did not Pagan Rome do this also? Yes, they removed Jupiter at the top and place Mithra in that place,  the Sun-god,  as did Christian Rome, with their SUNDAY WORSHIPS!


NOTE: The Egyptian worship was a worship in part to and for the dead, AMUITE the "Book of the Dead".

Note: In Luke 11 the Lazarus story Jesus spoke of Lazarus as sleeping. Thus all who have accepted and surrendered to Christ's will sleep in Christ ,j thus to be with Jesus at the FIRST Resurrection thus living in HIM!

VENERATION OR CONSULTATION OF THE DEAD, IS PROHIBITED IN THE SCRIPTURES.

      Deuteronomy 18:10-12  "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."

   note: "..PASS THROUGH THE FIRE...child sacrifice by fire.

    Psalms 127:3 " Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
NOTE: what do YOU think is the reward of all who do abortions or support the fact?

     Numbers 19:16 " And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days. "

Note: rendered unclean that person would not be allowed to attend worship services on the Sabbath, unclean for 7 days!.

     Leviticus 21:1  "And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:"

   Catholicism, is a form of religion that venerates the dead, each Cathedral built years ago, was built near a grave yards, or where people gathered to pray to the dead. and all must have some relic, a peace of bone or part of a dead saint's body buried under its alter, before it can be CONSECRATED!!

If you go into any Catholic Cathedral of any size, unless is brand new, you will be walking on corpses, surrounded by then in sealed and very ornate coffins. No Mass can be conducted unless there's relic no matter how small is under the alter! Is this not a worship of sorts of the dead?

NOTE: What's the bases, or the foundation for this kind of thinking?

   2  Unclean Spirits:  These are those, evil spirits, who make the persons" FEEL"  within when they seek and working in Spiritual Exercises, as those practiced by Loyola and His bunch the Jesuits! And to make those bible in nonsense., while believing they are speaking or praying in the Spirit!

   Revelation 14:12  "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

   Revelation 16:19  "And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.:"

Do we observe it on the day than men have prescribed it or do we obey God and observe our day of worship on the Bible's day The Bible's Sabbath, the Seventh day of the week rather than the first day!

All that boils down to this question: should we obey God or men?

Note: When the
scriptures speak of  the wine of fornication and Harlots and whores, is speaks not to the physical but to the spiritual, as in chasing other gods, small "g"!

     Joshua 24:15-16  "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;"

Note: How can you be sure, you are not being deceived?

    ARE YOU A "NEW TESTAMENT" CHRISTIAN?

    Then you are trying to build your "HOUSE" of faith, WITHOUT a foundation nor walls, and begin by building the ROOF!

   Please believe this, because you miss SO MUCH, of salvation's plan, PLUS, that's ALL Jesus Christ had while on this earth! Plus much of the "NEW" is direct from the "OLD" for example Revelation makes no sense without Daniel, Ezekiel or Isaiah and Jeremiah, so no wonder so few even bother to teach from it on Sun {So named and worshiping the SUN-god( small "g" on purpose} DAY.  Why think YOU there the SUNgod item of worship in the middle of "ST. Peter's Square from Egypt as are much of this system's doctrines. {The Stylus is nothing but a "phallus" symbol for Horus.} And this system "ARMY" of Jesuits symbolic letters of IHS which they say means "IN HIS SERVICE", also stands for ISIS-HORUS-SETH the three top Egyptian man-made gods!

Note: (JB) This is Christ Jesus {The "Anointed" Jesus} spoke these words Himself, as the New Testament could not be written until after He returned to His Father's side! SELAH!\

    It, the Holy Bible is not only a local history book, but it also details the battles between the forces of GOOD and EVIL, which began in Heaven as a war, and it shall end right here on this earth! All humanity from Adam and Eve will have and still must today chose whose side they are on, the GOOD or the EVIL sides! It's no more complicated that this!

   It's a Book, that has been dissected more than any other, and rightfully so, yet it also have been fully vetted and proven by the Science of Archaeology, {THE ONLY branch of human Sciences to do so!}

    We can study the Holy Bible, on the History it presents, but also for the messages of and for our salvation, and lets not forget the Prophecy, which makes it tomorrow's Newspaper. . .TODAY! There are a few hundred such fore-tellings, 50 in Jeremiah alone, that what is there that makes one think, that as more than 3/4rs of the total has come to pass, as written, and on time frames given, that so many do not believe nor accept them? Yet believe yes or no, that will not change the word, nor God's plans, detailed in both the Old and the New Testaments!

   Nearly ALL, the Bible's stories, have three functional sections:{Unless it is a direct historic value}

1. Typology--- a point of fact, that is latter expanded upon, to deepen to broaden the message.

2. Eschatology-- is but a Future View of what is happening.

3. Sertarology--  it must have a aspect of salvation in it.

    Therefore each story you read in the Bible, you should ask:

 #1. "What is this story telling me about the Salvation that is from Christ?" 

 #2  .Does it tell you, about a greater reality to follow? 

 #3.Then what does it tell you about the future fulfilment of prophecy?

The three above, "Guidelines" shall not ever be broken, {unless it cover a story in the here and now at that....time} because this is the Holy Bible put together by GOD, by His using men and two woman, over a span of 1,500 years, in three languages, on three continents, by people most of whom never knew each other.Yet there is no disagreement anywhere, beyond differing view points or angles on a topic. The reason there people in three different corners of an intersection, tell different views of a the same accident!

So if YOU find #1 and #3 then you should also find #2 about the same event. If YOU do this in all Prophecies, then YOU'LL not get lost in the multitude of Human efforts and errors.

   One of the Questions of Eschatology is, "What will be the 'Mark of the Beast' "?   How will it be applied, and or is it a question of a chip, or a card, as many   think today, or has it simply to do with the LAW OF GOD? The rejection of, and the transgression of God's Law? 

   

     Now, with the story of the Exodus, and God parting the sea, and instantly drying the mud, that covers both the Eschatology of Typology, because it is type of end time event, just prior to the Second Advent, Christ's Return, as He and all of Heaven come to gather ALL His own! {no one dies and goes right to heaven read Gen 3:19 and 2:7 and know a soul is the Breath of Life and IT returns to He who created it!]

Human Traditions and ideas have turned away millions for God!

 I know I was one, who that God, God's love overcame my thinking.! Let's apply the 3, shall we?

   Genesis 12:1 "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee"

  Most know that this land was Babylon, BABEL meaning confusion, loaded with Pagan worship so God CALLED him out of it before he succumbed to sins.THIS IS #1.[Salvation God calls]

    Genesis 12:5 " And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came."

Sarai, was very beautiful, and she was a Type of Bride {of Christ as ALL true believers are} and married to Abram a "type" of Christ, as The deliverer, from the hedonistic life styles of the area. If one wanted to tell this story in its total depth, it would cover a thick book, that would be of interest only to one of full faith/Trust in Jesus.

   Genesis 12:6-8 "And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.  And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD."

"..Unto Thy seed will I give this land"  #1  {If one studies, this topic, and look at the size of New Jerusalem of Revelation 21, it will cover this same land mass about the size of the state of Oregon's 375 sq. miles] An Eschatological promise.

    Builded an Alter to the Lord, thus witnessed to the Canaanites, again A Type of Christ,  He was DIFFERENT from all the others, and HE was called out, from the midst of sinners, that was Abram!

     Genesis 12:9-10  "And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.  And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land."

     

      Genesis 12:11-15  "And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house."

Note: Does it not look much like many today? No complete trust in God, so he lied and said This is my Sister {well half a lie, is still a lie, as she and he has the same farther different mothers.} because he feared to be killed if all knew she was his wife, making her a widow, available to men, again!

     Genesis 12:16-20  "And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.17. And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.18. And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?19. Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. 20. And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had."

"..His house with great plagues....Type #1 pointing to type #2 future plagues to come to Egypt in Exodus.

WHY?  look to the Seventh Commandment.. "Thou shalt not commit adultery."

BUT....who is the real guilty party in this part? Abraham then known as Abram, because of lack of trust in God,  he lied !  Did the leader have knowledge of God's LAWS? YES he knew about the 6th Commandment!

PLUS Sarai [later Sarah] goes along with it, and accepts all the beautiful clothing an robes, she was given within the Palace.

  So what are we told?  Abram, without being told by God, left and went to Egypt, and then lied to save his soul, and his wife played the game with him. He did not build any alters, and used Egypt as his supermarket, for food stuff..  Yet it was Pharaoh and his household got hit with the plaque, for knots of the head Abram deserved.

   Yet in spite of all that , Abram walks out with all the gifts, a very rich man!

    All this is the Story of Salvation, in a nutshell! Through faith in Christ, all sin is forgiven and we are saved by the Gift of salvation from the Father!

    Now, what would YOU do dear reader, in this case? About having a rich, very powerful leader, cast his longing eyes, upon YOUR Spouse? Because YOU trusted not your God, and told all he or she is by brother/Sister, not my spouse! Yet God forgave the lie, and set him up as a very rich man, leaving Egypt, while the Egyptians family got punished!
 
     History shows us that this leader was Senuseret III, who son Amenemhet III, had not yet taken the Throne, even though he was already Deified in Nubia, as a god! Thus in play, so far, was The Law of God, the Pharaoh's lust for Sarah, came the plagues, and the transfer of wealth, because Abram did have God in his heart, and he walked away with great substance. Just as ALL who fully swubmit and accept Christ5, will have great prize awaiting them in Heaven>

     Genesis 20:1-2  "And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar. And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah."

NOTE (JB) I wonder why Abram pulled the very same lie . . .again?
     Genesis 20:11  "And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake."
      Genesis 20:14  "And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and women servants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife."
       Genesis 20:16  "And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved."  {Rebuked}

Note: God deliberately showed both Abram and Sarah as imperfect, thus sinners. as we ALL are compared to our Father!
       Genesis 26:5  "Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
      Romans 4:3  "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness."
     
    Galatians 3:7  "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham."
NOTE; HOW'S THIS FOR A PROMISE, in Christ all are inheritors of the Kingdom! Son's and Daughters of God!
      James 2:23  "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God."

NOTE: Did he i n full fact and reality?  NO, but you see God read his heart, and Abram truly desired to be fully obedient, but flesh is weak, and why we all need Christ's strength!  DO WE NOT, suffer the same today, when we get hit with misfortune, do we not cry out WHY ME LORD?  Woe is me, and have our selves a private pity party!

    The ANTI-TYPE, can have several anti-types below it, and the Anti-type is always greater than the type.This can fully be shown in the Book of Daniel, where, God gives us information, and proceeds, to expand upon the original facts with ever greater details, Just like layers of an onion!

     One of the greatest kings of Egypt was Tutmoses III . "The Napoleon of Egypt". It was this man who said" Who is the LORD, that I should obey Him"   I know Him not and will not serve Him". When Moses and Aaron confronted him , to let God's people go!
    He died on the very same day, as the day of the Exodus beginning! The mummy I.D. as Tutmoses III was but a younger man in his early 20's. Far younger than the Exodus Pharaoh.He had a Co-Regent, his son, Amenhotep II , who was NOT in Egypt at the time of the Plagues, thus spared, but still the First Born son died!  Tutmoses III at this time was near 80 years of age, and the mummy ID is not near this old. But then even today politicians, cover up the truth don't they?
   The Pharaohs were  both religious and political leaders, just as the The Little Horn, the Vatican is today, as her 104 acres, is a Sovereign nation with the Popes as its King!

     RE-HARAKHTI THE SUN god, whom Tutmoses III raised to the head of the pantheon of Egyptian gods. Thus replacing AHAMON as head god.  It was he who was latter worsipped and deified as the3 incarnation of RE-Harakhti.

    Exodus 5:1-2."And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go."

      Exodus 5:4-5  "And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest   [Shabath-Sabbath]from their burdens."


NOTE: Thus the Religio-Political leader, made them work of God's Sabbath day, as is written in Eccl,1:9 "... as it was so shall it be again, there's no new thing under the sun" When the New World Order, will issue its international Sunday law, all must work on the Bible's Sabbath, of face prison or death! REV.13.
   WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?   THE 10 PLAGUES HIT EGYPT!  JUST AS IN REVELATION'S.  16. THEY WILL COME AGAIN THE LAST DAYS JUST BEFORE CHRIST RETURNS!  No new thing under the sun!

AGAIN with, great substance: 
    
     Psalms 105:43-45  "And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:  And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD."

NOTE:  Did the "Children of Israel"  obey God so well that they deserved the rewards they received? NO! They rebelled, again Him, in all ways. Yet He forgave them, and rewarded them!

     Exodus 16:4  "Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no."

 NOTE: For 40 years, God tested them, creating a miracle every day, for 40 years, raining Manna from Heaven each day.

    Exodus 16:23-24  "And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein."

     Exodus 16:26-28  "Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?"
      Exodus 16:29-30  "See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day."

Note:  for every day they were to gather enough for that day, IF, they gathered more in an effort to store it, it would stink and have worms, every day. . . .but on FRIDAYS the Preparations day, they had to gather twice as much, to save and store it for the SABBATH, it would NOT stink nor have worms in it, Thus every day God gave them a miracle!
QUESTION: What is the bread symbolic of?  The Body of Christ!  Remember, He died on Good Friday, RESTED or Sabbath on Saturday the 7th day, and arose before dawn on the 3rd day Sunday, the first day of the week! Yet most of Christendom, worships on Sunday, or obeying, the law of men, from  Rome!
   
     Psalms 16:10  "For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption."
      Acts 2:31  "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."

NOTE: It was a miracle that kept the Manna from spoiling the second day, just as it was a miracle that keep Christ's body from corruption. Science today knows at the moment of death, our bodies begin to become corrupt, within hours!  This Manna story holds several truths, a type pointing to Christ, a type pointing to the correct day of the Sabbath, and a type showing God's power!
      Exodus 16:26  "Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none."
     
     Exodus 20:8-11  "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
      Genesis 2:1-3  "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

Note: Do not these last 8 shown passages reinforce the Sabbath 's day? The Bible's Sabbath not the one erroneous one of men?

  The Ark of the Covenant in the temple of Dagon?

   1 Samuel 4:6  "And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the camp."
     1 Samuel 4:7-8  "And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore.  Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness."
Note: They the Philistines, know something about God, enough to be very afraid.
     1 Samuel 4:9-10  "Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.  And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen."
     1 Samuel 4:11  "And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain"

NOTE:  Why the defeat? Are they not God's children? Yes but they placed their full trust, into the Ark, of the Covenant,. Rather than in god Himself! As God looks at that as nothing more than idolatry!

    1 Samuel 5:2-4  "When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him."

Note: What did the Ark contain? The Two Tablets of stone carved into them was the LAW OF GOD! Dagon the Fish god, whose priests wore the Fish-Mouth Hats, or the MITER Hats of today's Vatican! The very reason Jonah's being regurgitated from the belly of the fish God had made, as Nineveh worshipped a fish God and the priests wore a fish mouth hat, and skins of scales and a fish tail.  So nothing new under the sun,

    1 Samuel 5:6-7  "But the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof. And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god."

    1 Samuel 6:1-3  "And the ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months. And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place. And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you."

     1 Samuel 6:5-6  "Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land. Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?"

NOTE: see the typology here? The Law of God subjected to another man0-made deity, cause God to take action, directly by smashing their god, and by rats and pestilences. God will not be mocked!
