My many thanks and Gratitude to all who made this book possible. John B.
1) Who ONLY, has the right to remit punishment and forgive sin?
Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins."
NOTE(JB) How can any man even think that he can remit punishments and forgive sins of another human being? In view of this passage..... Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Is this not as man saying that while they forgive and give absolution to the sinners, in some confession booth, that they have power over God's job of forgiving man's sins! What do YOU call, blasphemy?
NOTE(JB) As a young teen, I had a friend, that was an American Native, and I asked him, what in his culture they described the human conscience,. He knew not his exact age but that he remember spending 80 winters, and this was in the mid 1950's! This is what I learned. " When we are born the Great Spirit punts inside our hearts a very sharp stone, and when we do something we know to be wrong, the stone begins to spin, and that hurts our hearts! But when we keep doing wrong, over time, the stone is worm smooth but our hearts becomes very hared!" I've not ever forgotten that story, and if one thinks about it, it point one! Today, there are many people, with very hard hearts!
2) How ready is God-The Father to exercise His mercy towards the sinners?
Exodus 34:6-7 "And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."
3) What did God's Holiness by necessity, impose upon His mercy?
Hebrews 9:22 "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission"
.Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
Note: "The terms are most direct and most explicit. They are not repentance or good works, but the SHEDDING OF BLOOD, and this is one why, why Christ needed to die!
NOTE(JB) .Genesis 9:6 "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."
Please know that humans were closer to God, in those days, thus able to render honest verdicts, without prejudice, or political aspirations, that confronts in these last few hundred years! I for one am glad to error on the side of caution, and allow Christ to judge us all at the end! For there is NO unsolved crime with The Creator-God!
4) By whom have the conditions of forgiveness been met?
Acts 13:37-38 " But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:"
\NOTE(JB) Please read, very slowly and carefully the The Second Psalm, with prayer asking for the wisdom needed to fully understand it! It points to the requirements to be able to stand in that Great Day that Christ returns! All who shall not be able to stand, at that time have already perished! Thus choose YE this day whom ye shall obey, for whom ye obey his servants ye are. Serve ye God or serve ye Man? Serve righteousness, or serve those who lie and deceive you?
Harsh? Yeah! But how kind is death, everlasting?
5) How did Jesus make forgiveness possible?
Ephesians 1:5-7 " Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"
1 John 1:7-8 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
NOTE(JB): We, each, need to claim Him daily, and re-invite the Holy Spirit, into our hearts, to rule as is His The Father's will, and asking for His help and guidance to "Die To Self", so that Christ lives more fully within us! None of this can we accomplish by our own powers!BY the way: All of humanity has been Predestined or chosen for Heaven, it is we that need HIM!
6) By virtue of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, what is God the father willing to do for those who are convicted of sin?
Job 33:28-30 " He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living"
7) How completely is God repaired to remove the guilt of sin?.
Isaiah 1:18-19 "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"
8) How far will He remove our transgressions from us?
Psalms 103:12 " As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us."
9) What does The Father say concerning the remembrance of sins, repented of and confessed?
Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."
10) Howe supremely blessed, therefore, is the forgiven sinner?
Romans 4:7-8 " Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."
Psalms 32:1-2 " Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."
11) Believing the promises of God, for what did the psalmist pray?
Psalms 25:7 "Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD"
.Psalms 25:18 " Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins."
12) How did he testify to the forgiveness of his sins?
Psalms 32:5 "I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah."
13) For what does Jesus encourage believers to pray for?
Luke 11:4 " And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil."
14) Is there na sin which God will not forgive?
Matthew 12:31-32 "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."
NOTE(JB): If one keeps ignoring The Father's calling, He removes Himself farther and farther away, and after a time, the sinner will no longer be able to hear His calling, and thus is lost, blotted out, as if never even existed! LOOK>>>>
15) What makes this sin unpardonable?
John 16:8-9 "And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;"
Note: If the sinner refuses to be convicted of sin, by rejecting the Holy Spirit's pleading, obviously there can be no pardon,; for there no other messenger of mercy to follow!
16) If we claim forgiveness from God how should we relate ourselves toe who wrong us?
Ephesians 4:30-32 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
Colossians 3:12-13 "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."
NOTE(JB) Those who want God's mercy MUST be prepared to give it, to all others!
17) Should there be any limit to our forgiveness to others?
" Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."
NOTE(JB): This number 490 is the same number of years that Israel's people were given to remove all sins from their lives, or loose their National Salvation, and thus must come to The Father through Jesus Christ, just like all others must do as well!
NEXT: "JUSTIFIED BY FAITH." [sadly many are taught, that this comes only by works, and NONE is able to earn Heaven by their own works or efforts!"
