Revelation 14:6-7. "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."
Note: Some, due to their not knowing, are put off, by this word fear, but when this word is used in connection with our relationship with our Heavenly Father, the Hebrew word used is closer to our REVERE, or even in AWE, because He is LOVE, and all who love Him, need not ever fear Him. Others, well they are lost! Basically there's but two groups of people, the saved and the lost, there's no in between.
{In fact at the time of the end there 'll be only four (4) types of people 1: The Living Just and, 2. the living unjust. 3. The Dead just and the 4. the dead Unjust.}
Revelation 4:11. "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
NOTE: We, each one of us is, or has been, a Created being by HIS hand, as it is from God that we receive the "Breath of Life", and no science can prove nor show different, because God is above Science, as He is The ONE who created all the so-called Natural Laws, that controls all movements in the Universe.
Note: For all those still hung-up on evolution, can YOU name the PhD that recorded the very beginnings of life?
NO? None can right? Thus all it is, is a human Assumption, which is next door, to the educated guess!
Ephesians 3:9. "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:"
Note: "....who created all things by Jesus Christ" WHO is this but God the Father? Yet Jesus was the Active Agent in the Creation. Thus, Revelation's call to worship the Creator is a call to give honor to Jesus.
Exodus 20:8-11. "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it"
Note: We worship Him as The Creator, by keeping HIS SABBATHS, a call given before the coming of Christ! [See opening verses Rev.14:6,7.}
NOTE: but. . .but was this not for the Jews ONLY?
Mark 2:27 . "And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:"
Genesis 2:1-3. "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made"
Note: From earth's first beginnings to the first humans was but a 6 by 24 hour.span of time, but from Eden to the first mention of the word Jew, or Jews, is in the Book of Ruth, some 2300 years latter. Thus, well before any Jew was born! This is nothing more, than more of the "Traditions of men" in response to Satan's wish for worship to him on Sundays!
Mark 2:28. "Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."
Note: How can man or men make a Common day holy, and make a holy day common? Can man really change God's Law, that HE wrote into stone?
Ezekiel 20:12. "Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them"
Ezekiel 20:20. "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
Note: Hallow, to keep holy, and to whom do the Sabbath's belong to? Who is speaking the "MY SABBATHS?" but God Himself? So why take the words of men over the words of GOD, when men can't save self. let alone YOU?
Luke 4:16. "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read."
Note:: does this sound to YOU, that Christ is getting ready to announce a change in the day of the Sabbath here? Nor is there ANY OTHER verse that does this, period. It's all human "Traditions"!
Matthew 24:20. "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:"
Note: Christ foretold, of this event, Pagan Rome's total destruction of Judah, as a nation, this event is history as of 70A.D.Does this not show that HE expected His own to still keep His Sabbaths? No mention about FIRST DAY CREATION nor His Resurrection the day AFTER SABBATH!
Acts 13:42-44. "And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God."
Note: This was Paul, who, and Peter, wrote their parts as directed by the3 Holy Spirit, near the end of the First Century A.D. in and around 85-90 AD, and they preached and kept God's Sabbaths!
Acts 16:13. "And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither."
Note: This was a mix of both Jew and Gentile, that met for worship, as there was yet no built building for a Church.
Revelation 1:10. "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,"
Note: as with the above note, here at the end of the first 100 years A.D. the Lord' s Day was held as Holy, although this verse does not make it clear the next do. ....
Matthew 12:8. "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day."
Mark 2:27-28. "And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."
Luke 6:5. "And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."
Note: IF the Lord' s Day IS The Sabbath, then the Sabbath must be the Lord' s day. agree?
Note: Still in doubt about the Seventh day Sabbath? Re-read Gen 2:1: 1-3 at the top of this post.
Luke 23:54-56. "And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment."
Luke 24:1. "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them"
Note:The last three verses, lists three days in succession!
1. The Day Christ died-being the Preparation day-Friday, to prepare foods and home for the Sabbath
2. Sabbath, the Day Jesus rested- Sabbathed, in the Tomb- Saturday
3. The First day- SUNDAY, the Venerable day of the Sun, His Resurrection day.
Here the Holy Bible gives its names to the DAY before the Sabbath, and the DAY after the Sabbath, therefore the day in the middle MUST BE THE SABBATH DAY, YES OR NO?
Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
NOTE: Now Christ does not, did not ever change, who is left to change it other than Satan, who hates the Sabbath, because it honors the Creator, and men or man? Either way who but Jesus is able to forgive sin and save YOU AND ME?
What have all those fully in Jesus, have to look forwards to...?
Isaiah 66:22-23. "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD."
Since Jesus is YOUR Savior, Your Lord and YOUR Master, do YOU lovingly choose to obey Him by Keeping His Sabbath holy? YES? or NO?
