     Do YOU know about the clash between two ideologies? One is spearheaded by the theologies and dogmas of Rome, and the other are those who by and in the Word of God, are waiting for the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
    You see folks it IS MORE than a question of a DAY of Worship, that is THE question, but rather is is a question of whose authority YOU ACCEPT, GOD'S OR MAN'S, THE HOLY BIBLE OR ROME, THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH OR SUN day FOR THE SUN god?   Besides whom do YOU think YOU worship on the man-made day for worship? [ [Please answer within self]

Ezekiel 20:12. Isaiah 58:13. Jeremiah 17:21 and Malachi 3:6 and finally Genesis 2:1-3. and the question: "Can man/men take a Holy day the 7th day and make it common, and then take a common day Sunday the 1st day of the week and make IT a Holy day? Can man/men change God's laws?

      Matthew 24:3-4 " And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."

     As YOU may well know MOST Christians observe Sunday worship, right? But on which day did Jesus YOUR Savior worship ?   YES Saturday, from Friday's sunset to Saturday's sunset! Think we aught not to follow the example that Christ plainly set before us? Now ask self, who is always against God and His word, but Satan, the dragon and the devil?  Please, think whom YOU worship upon the "Venerable Day of Sun" as per the degree of Emperor Constantine, in A.D.321!   But why does the Bible really push this?
 
      Matthew 24:24-25  "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before."
    Satan has spun a very deliberate and intricate web of deceptions upon this earth, as you will see...
    Revelation 16:13-14  "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
     Can YOU not see, that demonic forces are at work among men? Via Apparitions of Mary, and all those bleeding Blood and Olive oil, from Carved statues and even paintings, to hold and entice believers, and new comers alike, to support the Traditions of the church!    Plus all their services, are set-up to entertain, rather than to have you learn more about Jesus and the Father.
      Thus the ONLY save-guard YOU and me have is our Bibles, the Holy Word of God, as man/men can't even save themselves let alone YOU and me, agree?

To repeat:   Matthew 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew  great  signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

    In other words, if this will fool even those who are familiar with the the Word of God, can be fooled, it must be taken as very serious, agree? Therefore our ONLY defense lies in Christ, and our relationship with HIM right? Now, we humans are built, with the need to know about another, before we can begin to trust, that one yes? But there is no other source for knowledge about God or His son Jesus , but the the Holy Bible, would you agree? Oh, I John, can tell you much about Jesus, but that means your info came 2nd hand, right? Besides who am I?
 
   Daniel 8:14  "And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."
    Satan hates this, the beginning of this 2300 year prophecy, but he hates ever more it's ending! Why?
Because it reveals a people, and that they stand for Jesus because they have accepted His Word.....

I call this Rome's Challenge.   "Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Roman Catholic Church protests. that it transferred Christian Worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday.

This is copied verbatim, including lower case "b" for Biblically! But here's THE Question: "What is the Catholic Church actually challenging? The Words of man or the Words of God, as written in His Holy Word?
Answer: They challenge the Bible and the Bible only agree?  That places YOU and me right in the middle does it not? Unless, of course YOU think man can give you both salvation and eternal life, right? THINK!

   Sadly, however, we on this earth are under TWO SETS LAWS, God's Ten Commandments and Rome's Catholicism!  So which should YOU chose? Obey man/men or God?

     John 14:15 " If ye love me, keep my commandments"

    Sorry, but the above verse is Christ's own words! Thus all this boils down to the simple question of AUTHORITY, right?  So to whose authority do YOU bow down to? Your Creator God, or man's Rome?

THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSE BULLETIN:   August 14. 1942.....":The Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority giver to her by her founder, Jesus Christ {Please show book, chapter and verse from the Bible for this "authority"} . So what IS this Testimony of Jesus?
   
Revelation 19:10  "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

   Therefore, the TWO Distinguishing characteristics of God's remnant church are:
1. They keep the Commandments all of them not just 9 or even 8.
2. It has the testimony of Jesus, which is Prophecy.

     Ezekiel 20:12  "Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them".  [ Isaiah 58:13. Jeremiah 17:21. Malachi 3:6 and Genesis 2:1-3.
     Please, read this with care, as God does indeed protect His Holy Sabbaths, from changes... as He caused Luke to write and show Friday the Preparation day,  then Sabbath, then the First day of the week, which as in all other days left, have no names given beyond the 1st day after Sabbath , the 2nd day after.. and   so on!
     Luke 23:53-56  And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulcher that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulcher, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.Luke 24:1-3  Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus."
     Hebrews 13:8  "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

   Exodus 20:8-11  "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 20:4-6  "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."

   The above are the two of ten that Rome really "messed with" the 2ND. they removed from their Catechism entirely, about the "carved images" and then the their 3rd came from the bibles 4th and so on to the TENTH which they sh so conveniently split into two parts to stay with the Ten!  So whom would YOU be willing to trust? God that CAN NOT lie or men who do?

     Revelation 14:9-10."And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:"

   So if any believe in him, or obey him, or worship him, then they are on the wrong side of God, just as those in Noah's time, when all but 8 people were on the wrong thus the wet side of the Ark, and perished by drowning! Ever since that time Jesus Christ haws been the believers ARK!
     Revelation 14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."
 Note: This is the Lake of Fire, which God will bring upon this earth {Rev.19:20-21}.  Read Revelation 21:1-2 to know this event takes place on this earth. as a total purification of earth!

  If YOU  believe in God's Word, Sola Scriptura, then you may think the above is a a presumption, and not fact, correct?  Nor can it be Biblical.

   "Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act... and the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters"  Letter, October 28th, 1895 from C.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal  Gibbons.

As you can very plainly see, it s all about authority, that of God or that of man!

Plus you should also see, that this is not a personal attack and anyone, other than an attack on God, now who but Satan has declared war on God?
     Revelation 12:7-9  "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

So far, this has brought YOU to question man's truth according to Rome, right? BUT what IS T R U T H ?

THE LAW IS TRUTH : Psalms 119:142  "Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth."
Psalms 119:151  "Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth."

THE WORD IS TRUTH: John 17:17  "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

JESUS IS TRUTH: John 14:6-7  "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."

Note: "BUT BY ME" not by any other, not by a Pope, nor Buddha, nor Muhammad, but by Jesus only because it was HE who died for the sins of all, this making salvation possible for all who obey in love.

God ca not and will not suffer compromise, nor can nor should He, as He changeth not! Now lets take the last part, no changes, can't you feel a great comfort in knowing that truth does not ever change, so that YOU have no need to learn the "latest upgrade" in truth? What kind of world would this be if every day YOU had to search the latest or or the newest form of truth, to keep you from trouble?

1951 Pope Pius XII defined and enforced the doctrine of the bodily Assumption of Mary

{Catholic Layman July 1856 had this to say) : "The sinner that ventures directly to Christ many come with dread and apprehension of his wrath: but let him only employ the mediation of the Virgin Mary with her Son and she has only to show that Son the breast that gave him suck and his wrath will immediately be appeased."
  Now I ask YOU have in in a Religious setting read anything more sick that this above? Not only sick but oh so Biblically wrong, for there is no shred in any passage that leads one to think that Mary has been resurrected, period!

              STATEMENTS on MARY BY CATHOLIC SAINTS.

     "He falls and is lost who has no recourse to Mary. Mary is called the gate of heaven because no one can enter that blessed Kingdom without passing through her."

Note:  The following is Jesus speaking:  John 14:6  "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
   OK, so who is truthful, GOD or man?  YOU can decide for yourself, but this continues.......

    The way to salvation is open to none otherwise through Mary...... The salvation all depends on their being favored and protected by Mary. He whom is protected by Mary will be saved: he who is not will be lost... Our salvation depends on thee... god will not save us without her intercession of Mary... Note (j.b.) Just a King David is still in the grave, there is not one shred of a verse, that shows Mary is: 
A. Resurrected to Heaven
B. That she is anything more than the earthly Mother of Christ
C. Therefore all this Mary business is but human dogma and opinion.

    Acts 2:29  "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day." { (j.b.) the only humans in heaven, are Enoch,Genesis 5:24  "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

Note: Whose Word carries the most weight? God's? or Man's?   As any can see, these two ideologies are not in line with each other, now are they?

     Who has not noted, that Jesus in marginalized, in every aspect, HE is questioned of either His position, or role, or even IF HE even existed, by all the print and electronic media, including this Church and ALL Who Run back to her! He is ridiculed by all the sciences, however not by all scientists, thank God, by many Archaeologists, who are busy looking for ways to demote Him, as being but a good man!  Well history has had many "Good men and woman" but few know anything about them, right? SO WHY CHRIST?
     Even, the Historical aspects of the Bible are held up for ridicule, as are Salvation, and eternal life, agree?

      In point of fact, it is near to impossible for you and me to say "Sola Scriptura," without being denigrated, right?  They happily place us into the lunatic fringe, right? But please stop to think, who but Satan is apposed to Christ ? Yet the ONLY way he can hurt Jesus is by deceiving God's children, right? Please put two and two together!

    God's own say "God created heaven and earth in 6 days, and the world says PPPHHHHRRTT! Agree?
Even many denominations now say we can't think that Genesis 1 is not to be taken as LITERAL! Well EXCUSE ME! If any Preacher/Teacher/Priest holds this view, can we NOT LEGITIMATELY  ask, "DO YOU believe in the rest of the Bible, YES or NO"?

And so they turn their eyes to Mary, in her, the Church is already the "all-holy."  Article 829 Roman Catechism

Article 971. " DEVOTION to the Blessed Virgin"
      "All generations will call me blessed"  [(j.b.) no such passage in the King James] "The Church's devotion to the Blessed Virgin intrinsic to Christian worship. The Church rightly honors "The Blessed Virgin" with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title Mother of God. {not in the JKV}, to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs.... This very special devotion... differs essentially from the adoration which is given to the incarnate Word....  and co-equally to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and greatly fosters this adoration. The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the Rosary, an "epitome of the whole gospel", express this devotion to Mary.

NOTE: "From the most ancient times..." should this not be corrected to say "At least since the Christian era"? Or is this their ADAPTATION of the Babylonian--"Queen of the Heavens"? Just asking!     Protestants say "Mary Quite Contrary" , yet most obey the degrees and commandments from Rome, do they not? All around the world, there are 1,000 of Mary Statues being erected, plus many an article on "How to believe in Miracles", appear in her many media outlets.  Shrines abound all around earth in most nations, all with Mary!

   At the Mariam Grotto, one can "BUY" different sizes of Crosses, depending on what one sin load they think they bear, and then he or she carries this cross around the area, and the cross is marked Mary Helps and Mary heals! And your sins are thus forgiven, by penance! This is in no way even remotely Biblical, as it leaves out Christ in prayer!Yet the Bible tells us to pray and ask forgiveness, and to repent, {turn away from sins] with a contrite, and humble heart! What's so humble to think men can forgive sins of others?

   However the cult of Mary is very powerful, with those Biblically Illiterate beings. St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, the founder of the Knights of the Immaculata, and this Priesthood's aim is to further Mary according to men!

Note: No where in the Word of God, is it written that Mary died, nor resurrected to heaven, so they pray to a dead woman, Sorry but truth is truth!
      Pope Paul VI, in his 1967 Encyclical, Sigmum Magnaum, identified the Lady of Fatima as the biblical representation of the Woman clothed with the sun.
   "I am the the Virgin of Revelation". This is what Mary said, in this vision, as p[er the Church, however.....

Note: Does this not turn the Gospel upside down?  A study of the Word of God will reveal that the woman of Revelation 12 is the Church that Christ built, HE had nor has any part of this church's doctrines, as they appose His Word!
 
Revelation 12:17  "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."  [read Vs 9 to I.D. the dragon]

Revelation 14:6-7  "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

    The Bible says, "God is the Creator,"  but the Vatican says "Genesis is nonsense."    Now even the most hard headed should be able to see the two differing ideologies here.  The Bible's Creation verses the human evolution and the "Big Bang", of which nothing science can prove nor duplicate by experiment!   Science ever since the old Greek masters, became nothing more than philosophy, in fact this was so ingrained that the records still show that in Oxford University, students and professors discussed for 4 years, yes, four years,f the amount of teeth in; a horse's mouth, YET at no time did anyone ever go to count the teeth in a horse's mouth! This began to change in the 16 and-18th , when science began to use actual observations and devised experiments to prove or disprove a theory! However since the 1930's science, has reverted back to philosophy as far as creation is concerned, to the point that, to evolutionists, it IS THEIR RELIGION, AND THEIR FAITH [in it] IS AS STRONG AS ANY CHRISTIAN's!
    Sadly, all this openly shows that they have put their faith in men and their ideas.... period! Rome, which has declared Genesis as "Utter nonsense"? Are they still to be called a Christians, when the beginning of God's Word is held as "Utter Nonsense"?
John 1:1-3,14.  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
2 Timothy 3:16  "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Note: Either the Bible and God lied or man does and did, right? God can NOT lie!

     Could it be that the seventh day Church, organised in 1864, as a Commandment and Bible Sabbath keeping Church, began to grow by leaps and bounds?  To the point where they have more schools, more hospital and more clinics than any other church? Whose membership is growing at near 1 million new members a year in the last few years! The Church whose motto is the The Three Angles Message of Revelation 14, and covers the whole earth with electronic media that is Biblically sound!
     Sadly many other "Protestant Churches, have fully embraced Rome's Ecumenicism, and are rushing headlong back as dutiful "Daughters", back to "Mother" Rome!

     Revelation 17:2-6  "With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Note: Which Church was it that during the Dark Ages, ruled Western Europe with "Believe and worship as I say or die? The Vatican! Each and every main synod of Protestantism support evolution, thus they can NOT also claim to support the Bible, now can they? Yes they all make this claim, right?

       Does this not create a huge problem? How can anyone say I live by the Holy Bible, and still somehow or another find a away to fit evolution into their faith? The Bible says sin entered into the world, by Eve's disobedience, thus death also came into the world. Until then there was NO DEATH, NO CARNIVORES!

7. Hell.. "Place and state in which the devils and such humans being as die in enmity with God suffer eternal torment.' Men's words only. God  Final punishment have forever results, not punishing s!
8. Indulgences, financial payment after or even before sins committed.
9.  Mass: Omission of the cup- Council of Constance 1414, re-affirmed by council of Trent 1545.
10. Sunday worship, in place of the Seventh day Sabbath Genesis 2:1-3 Exodus 8-11.

NOTE: Why did Jesus rebuke this woman?  What she spoke was a Babylonian doctrine, and Jesus pointedly directed us to the Bible! Which Rome condemns by the way!

Pagan Priesthood of Cybel ( Pagan god) were:

2. Tonsured    {shaved head but for a ring of hair, on the sides.
3. Commission: "Receive the power of sacrificing for the living and the dead.
Note: This Verse: So  are THEY they NOT saying ,His sacrifice was NOT SUFFICIENT?

As you can see all the Divergences Rome follows, that are not in harmony with the Bible, how do they solve that problem?

     The theologian Karl Rahner, pointed out the we are moved much more readily and effectively by those divine interventions that we call apparitions that by abstract teachings of knowledgeable theologians or the hierarchy of the church.

where is the Bible did they find that Mary is resurrected to Heaven and that we must pray to her?  Can YOU say "TRADITIONS?"

Mark 7:13 " Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye."

Note: Having this said, No person shall be judged beyond the amount of truth they have received, so this Church I suspect, shall be well represented by faithful followers of Christ. Our Father does not judge as man under human laws, in which Ignorance of the Law is no excuse nor a defense.

As you can see that this System of Power, has since inception apposed the Word of God, and replaced it with their own traditions and doctrines, that find little harmony in the Word. This has been very visible ever since 1844. Charles Darwin book "The Origin of species" first published in 1848. About the same time as Karl Marx 's "Das Kapital", a rant for Communism, and then "The Communist Manifesto" ! From whose mind but Satan's did  ALL this GARBAGE COME FROM?

Note: Please let NOT the for ever and ever throw you, dear reader, God does not punish eternally, as men hold, but the punishments results     The Results.....shall be for ever and ever! In fact the Hebrew word meaning for "Blotted out" means never existed! As the LOST but beloved ones will be removed from our memories, period!  The former things....even the the most vile, and lost, person was loved by somebody!

"IS CREATION CREDIBLE?

       DID GOD REALLY CREATE THE THINGS IN NATURE? NANCY CANWELL'S FRIEND ASKED THIS QUESTION, AND HE FOUND THE ANSWER.
 MANY Thanks to both Nancy and Signs of the times Magazine  pp. 27-31 Feb 2014 issue.


      Chris and Kate were sitting in their college class listening to the professor 's lecture on how the world's oceans were supposed to have been formed, The professor went into great detail describing how billions of year ago, comets carrying large amounts of ice crashed into the earth, melted, and created the vast oceans.
[ (j.b.) did he witness this, or speak to an eyewitness, perhaps? Thus its an human ASSUMPTION]
     Christ leaned over to Kate and whispered, "Or you could say that God spoke, and the oceans were created. That's more believable!"
     Some people find the story of Creation found in Genesis 1 and 2 hard to believe---at least at first glance. These chapters state that God created our universe by speaking it into existence. That would take unimaginable power! When God speaks, things happen. Night and day begun. Dry land appeared, dividing the seas. The sun, moon, and stars gave light. Sea creatures and birds, filled the oceans and the sky. Animals began to walking the earth. Yes, at first glance, all this might seem hard to believe, but it merits a closer look.

                                                    A DAY OF DOUBTS.

     MY friend, Aaron grew up in a strong Christian environment. He'd been educated in Christian schools, and raised by Christian parents, and even attending a Christian college, studying to be a pastor.
    Here's Arron's story, in his own words: "I had just begun a week-long backpacking trip in the mountains There I spent several days just quietly drinking in nature's beauty."
     But then on the fourth day, as I was hiking to a higher alpine lake, a strange thought crossed my mind: Is there really a God? If there is, why hasn't He shown Himself to me personally? Could it be that He really is not there at all? This claim that there is a God either is the most phenomenal truth or is nothing but a ridicules myth.
   "My thinking continued like this: Either the Bible is the true record of origin and destiny--- of the purpose of life-- or it's just a fable. And to make a long story short, after many more doubts flooded my mind, I finally came to the point that I totally cast off by belief in God. In that moment, I became an honest atheist..

                                              FROM FACTS TO FAITH 

Faith will and does encompasses much more than empirical science is able!

     ALTHOUGH  it seemed that Aaron's mind was made up, his story doesn't end here.

       "As I hiked back to camp, I started casually thinking about my body, of how perfectly all its systems were working in careful balance. I idly thought of my digestive system-- how my body somehow transforms granola and fresh apples into energy for climbing mountains. I could feel my heartbeat in my hands, and I thought about how my circulatory system--- how it keeps all my organs and muscles supplied with what they need, [(j.b.) and all they need at very different exertion levels, almost as if there was a automatic sustain governor]. I inhaled deeply, I thought of my respiratory system-- of how it was exchanging carbon dioxide and oxygen as I breathed the fresh,clean mountain air. [Funny but all plants need what we exhale, Carbon Dioxide, and they in turn release oxygen, in a symbiotic  and PLANED system (j.b.)] Then my mind considered my nervous system-- how without it, I would be totally incapable of feeling, tasting, smelling, hearing, or even seeing. I would not be able to function at all.
      "Even more incredible to me was how I had come to exist.---how my parent's reproductive systems somehow matched up all the right genes and chromosomes to make me uniquely who I am. Finally, I thought about my brain--- how it functions, it becomes a mind with which I can analyze, create,choose, and remember. I was in absolute awe of my boy's complex and interdependence systems!
      " Then my thoughts shifted to my surroundings. The trees and grass were give of the oxygen I need in order to live. I had crossed a stream, which reminded me that my body is nearly 75% water. Yet, I am so much more than just water! I looked up at the blue sky and remembered the thousands of stars I'd seen the night before--stars whose movements are so precise that we measure time by them.Then I thought, about our earth, orbiting the sun so faithfully year after year--- of how, if it veered off course just a little, we'd all freeze or fry!
     "Suddenly, I stopped on the trail, awestruck.  There just had to be a Mastermind behind all these systems and the order we can all see. There is no way around it, random chance can not account for all the amazingly complex systems that are us, and surround us all. Suddenly I had serious doubts, about my earlier doubts!  Certainly Someone brilliant and powerful had to be behind this universal order!"
      "That was a pivotal moment in my life. I left the mountains a few days latter inspired by the realization that God, the Creator of the Universe, lives with me. I've never doubted that ,since.
      Aaron's experience was pretty well summed up by the apostle Paul long ago.....
Romans 1:19-20  "Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

Note {(j.b) added----Romans 1:21-24  "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:"
Note (j.b)  Does the above not fit most of humanity today?

                                 CREATED FOR COMPANIONSHIP. [Love, to be complete must be given and received, is in a circle, and freely given!]

      Aaron told me that up there on the trail, he sensed that God had some overriding purpose in creating our world. And he was right. The Bible's creation story reveals that.
     God, could have stopped the creation process after the fifth Day and peacefully enjoy all that new beauty by Himself. BUT, on the sixth day, He created something even more extraordinary: human beings. Whereas God simply spoke everything else into existence, He however got very intimately involved......
Genesis 2:7  "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
    What's more, He not only Personally formed us but also created us in His own image.......
Genesis 1:26-27  "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
      And still God wasn't finished. As His final act of Creation, He added a Seventh day to Creation week....
Genesis 2:1-3  "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
    In  doing this, He set apart the Seventh day, for a Holy purpose, which is the meaning of sanctification, thus God gave us the Sabbath day--- a day we too, can rest form our labors, and be free to focus on our relationship with Him. By His creating this unique day, {from Friday's sunset to Saturday's sunset] , God showed us why He created us: so that we could have the time to enjoy companionship with Him. [Plus it's a memorial day celebrating His Creative Powers]
   Unfortunately, the face to face companionship that God had planned to enjoy with us, was lost after sin entered. God's creation was no longer perfect. What He had spoken into existence, and what He had formed with His own hands began to decay. But the Creator didn't turn His back on His creations, and leave us to our own destruction. The Creator became our Savior! He left heaven to be born of woman, thus blending the human with the Divine, living a perfect life, yet more tempted than we, He willingly gave His life, to pay our sin debts. [So that ONE DAY, HE could again have the original and by then 'never ending' companionship with Him, with all who so choose to be with Him! (j.b.)]
    The story of Creation gives us our identity, and meaning to our lives. As God created each one of us, we each have a great value. [Not only to self but to God , or else why die for us?]    Aaron found this to be true. Plus I think that's the why we feel a vacancy when we don't have God in our lives.
    Recently, a friend of mine said it well: "We were made for fellowship with God, and only in that fellowship can we find our real and full significance in life. We are restless until we rest in Him"

EVOLUTION OR CREATION:

In an essay on human evolution that I turned in for a biology calls, the lecturer wrote "LIES" under most of the quotations I'd cited, and then he added, "I am disappointed. You have accepted and regurgitated material that is illogical and/or lies and/or a misunderstanding and/or a misrepresentation of evolution."  I said to him. "You used quite strong language against authors I quoted in my paper. I took pains to cite only writers who were evolutionists." When other evolutionists are honest about problems with this theory, they're assumed to be lying.

1. How does the Bible say God created?
      Psalms 33:6  "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth."
[(j.b.) as only the eyes in Heaven were eyewitnesses, anything and everything else is nothing more than a hum,an assumption, as no science nor scientist (s) can show empirical proof to the contrary!

2. Why did God create this world?
     Isaiah 45:18 " For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else."

3 What does David say about how God made him?
       Psalms 139:13-14  "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."

     George Johnson, in a Wall Street Journal article, said, "Human DNA contains more organized information [(jb.) please note the word Organized] that the Encyclopedia Britannica. If the full text of the encyclopedia were to arrive in computer code from outer space, most people would regard the as proof of existence intelligence." Yet evolutionists say that all happened by chance

4. In what way are humans different from the rest of creations?
      Genesis 1:27  "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
    This is why we are spiritual, personal beings with the ability to think and reason, as well as to choose. Darwinist philosopher Micheal Ruse, is baffled by this fact. He says, "Why should a bunch of atoms have thinking ability?Why should I, even as I write now, be able to reflect on what I am doing? No one, certainly not Darwinian's, seems to have any answers to this. The point is that there is no scientific answer." He's right! Without God or the belief in Him, there is no answer!

5. What important human relationship was instituted by God? 
     Genesis 2:24  "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
{(j.b.) in a word Marriage, and between a man and a woman]  Remember God celebrated the first marriage, bu His instruction to them" to be fruitful.", increase in number" and "fill the earth." Genesis 1:28.

6. What moral choice shows that our first parent were  given the freedom to be moral beings?
     Genesis 2:16-17  "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
{(j.B.) sadly they chose to rebel, and listen to Satan rather than God, just as most still do today, right? Also remember Gen 3:4 the first recorded Bible's lie, you shall surely NOT die, and this became the root for "Die & go right to heaven, " traditions of men. Thus lies are compounded, right?

6. What does the fourth commandment say to remember in Exodus 20:8-11?
     Exodus 20:8-11  "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
[(j.b.) There are those who have removed the 2nd commandment entirely, and as all know there's 10, they split 10 into two parts, so I ask who do they think they are fooling? Look else where in this blog for the answer as to who led this charge and read Daniel 7:25 and 2 Thessalonians for the who }
The Sabbath is a God given Memorial of Creation, and a weekly reminder that we are created to worship God.....
Revelation 14:7 " Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

8. What choice gives us hope?
     John 5:24  "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
   All the Darwin evolutionists, say that life has no purpose, beyond self. Yet human beings instinctively seek purpose and meaning in life. This as many have found, can only be found in a relationship with the Creator God, who made us all.

SADLY THE FASTEST GROWING "Religion" today? SPIRITISM

   This comes under many common names and a few methods, but no matter the name nor the method used it ALL comes from Eastern MAN -MADE religions. In other words to put it plain religions chasing strange gods.

       Most of the "Practitioners"  know this name "Spiritual Formation," and it's stated goal by the practitioners, is to empty oneself, to a state of "Nothingness" including especially including God and His Christ!
     I hope DEAR READER, that YOU are wise enough to know that anyone who teaches you to become empty of thoughts, is NOT FROM GOD, or even teaching YOU about God. We know that an mind in such a state, is very open to Satan and his demons, and that is their goal!
     True, the Roman church has been using this since their "Dessert Fathers", as their ancient mystics, but is in reality leading all Protestants back to Rome and their Eastern Mysticism. Under many names, but all began from a single point, Rome!
Why can any be so sure?
    If you've read all my blogs you'll have read this:

This church's leaders call their Pope, "Our Lord God, The Pope" !    
Daniel 7:25  "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

   This passage b y Daniel, was written about 500 years BEFORE Christ! Do these Popes not speak great WORDS against the most High?

     Speaking of Foster, of the infamous Renovare', he even wrote his own "bible" for the devotees to read and study!  Perhaps you may have read his book "from 1978 "Celebration of Discipline: The Path to
Spiritual Growth", is the "text book' and passages are often quoted during his many church speaking tours. All this makes him one of the top "Banana" in this devilish games Satan plays on us all.
    His teachings are filled with Buddhism, Yoga, T.M. [transcendental meditation], the exercises of Ignatius of Loyola, Eastern Religions, and extremely spiritual, destructive practices. All designated to promote the opening of persons to the demonic influences, in order for devotees to "FEEL" something they think id GODLY in origin, but it all comes from the Dark side. Yet Foster says that he's all about "THE FORMATION OF CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTERS IN PEOPLE"
    Now I ask you YES YOU, dear reader, "How can he do this by patting people into the the powers of Satan? What has the Light and Truth, have to do with Dark and evil lies?
    Yet, it was named in 2010 as one of the Top Ten books by Christianity Today! {Talk about being deceived}
   No, none of this is new, it the some old garbage, with a new wrapping and a ribbon to boot. As most of the New Agers know very well, all this is nearly as old as humanity itself. The New Age people focus on the "Silence of the Universe", Foster calls this "the re-creating silence". but this also is a New Age term.

                        SO, HOW IS THIS DONE?

     In the most basic of terms it is a form of self-hypnosis, by getting self into a comfortable position, and softly repeating a word a phrase, any words, softly over and over for as much as it takes for your mind to became without thoughts. {Practice I understand always makes perfection] but in this case, contacting Satan is not without dangers}
     Few speak about it, but look at all the entertainment stars, that became instantly famous, and where are most of the now? Many are dead, by their own hand, many others turn to drugs, to escape, still many others take their own lives, by their own hands!
  You see reader, Satan is hate, he cared not not the  slightest whit about anyone other than self,  plus he no longer has a conscience anymore, and YES he can give you earthly wealth, as he has done to many a past celebrity, but he always extracts a very high price, one' eternal life!
This only God can give and bestow on us, but He'll not do so while we chase Satan and his ways, agree?

    So what then is the ultimate goal?
Revelation 13:3-4  "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
So who is this dragon?

Revelation 12:3-5  "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."

Revelation 12:7-9  "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

What has this got to do with the powers that be in Rome?
Revelation 17:3  "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns."

   Biblical Prophecy a woman is symbolic of the church, Revelation 12:1-2  "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered."
   This woman in  white, is the Pure church, while the other woman in scarlet is the apostate church...

Revelation 18:2-4  "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."

Note: Babylon is NOT a place, rather a condition, for it means to babel, to confuse, confusions (s) .

Revelation 17:5-7  "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns."

Note: Which power was in total and full control during the persecutions of the dark Ages of W.Europe, but Rome who became at one with the ten Kings, this Church and Government were one!  This IS History and millions were killed because they refuse to worship Rome, and choosing the Bible ways instead!

Besides, do YOU know which organization has the very best and up-to-date information? No not the CIA, nor NSA, Nor Russia, but the Vatican! Think all those "Confessional Booths",  around the world, and why they set them up, when the Bible says we are to confess and repent to God in Christ's name?

THE REAL JESUS BY Vanessa Pizuto in Dec.'13 Signs of the Times pp.18-21.

     YOU'VE HEARD THE EXPRESSION, "GENTLE JESUS, MEEK AND MILD," WHILE THIS IS TRUE V. PIZUTO SHOWS US ANOTHER SIDE OF HIM (from HIS WORD John 1:1-1-3,14. j.b.)

Images of the Baby Jesus, are commonplace during Christmas time--- a tiny, defenseless Infant lying in a makeshift crib in a manger, surrounded by kind, gentle animals.
     Even as an adult, Jesus is often portrayed as an ever-smiling Messiah who never raised His voice or even got frustrated.. In fact, this super nice Jesus who was never confrontational and always turned the other cheek is the Model that we often encouraged to follow.
      The  popular and oft overused acronym W.W.J.D. (What would Jesus do?), can encourage us to focus on the meek side of Jesus. But, in the process, we tend to forget the the {SAME } Jesus who called the Pharisees hypocrites and expelled vendors from the Temple. Instead we expect Christians to stick only to His sunny side, ignoring those aspects of His character that we find disturbing.

POLITICALLY INCORRECT?

      BUT does this image of Jesus match the Jesus of the Bible? How can we reconcile passages in which Jesus appears tough and bold, with this so-called "meeker" side? Are there any spiritual risks to ignoring the "politically incorrect" verses that portray this other side of Jesus?
      Even the most casual glance at the stories of Jesus recorded by Matthew, Mark  Luke and John reveals that He showed a full scope of emotions. He was not always "nice".
    For instance He rebuked His disciple Peter as demonic.....
     Mark 8:33. "But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men."
     Then a few days latter.....
     Mark 11:15-18. "And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.  And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine."
NOTE (j.b.) is it so remote, to think the the chief priests were getting a "cut-of-the-action"? As one reason for their hate for Him?
    Nor did Jesus mince His words, either. "a brood of vipers"?
     Matthew 12:34-35. "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."
     Or calling His own disciples.....
     Mark 3:17. "And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:"   [Boanerges means disorder]
      He dared to call King Herod- the ruling tyrant who wanted to kill Him-- a "fox"   Luke 13:32.
     And that's not all! Jesus also showed a disregard for the meaningless traditions [(j.b.) of men] and the hypocritical displays of the priests. In fact He openly denounced them in....
     Matthew 15:1-7. "Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias (Grk for Elisha) prophesy of you, saying,"

    He challenged their narrow religious views, at the cost of making them His enemies....
    Matthew 12:1-8. "At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day. But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day."
   Yet He also expressed frustration....
    Mark 10:13-14. "And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
     Many of His teachings were politically incorrect....
     Luke 20:45-47. "Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation."    John 5:41-47. "I receive not honor from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honor that cometh from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?"
     Jesus kept challenging the status quo regardless of the consequences....
    Matthew 15:12-13. "Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."

NOTHING BUT AN IDOL?

     IT'S easy to overlook Jesus' action that challenge our concept of what the perfect human should be. But God doesn't want us to use the Bible the way we would a buffet at a restaurant,  choosing only the bits and pieces that suit our preconceived ideas. In fact, when we systematically omit "troublesome " passages of the Bible that show a radical Messiah in favor of politically correct One, we risk turning the Lion of Judah into harmless kitten....Revelation 5:5. "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
      Eugene Peterson, pastor, scholar, and, author of "The Message Bible", puts it plainly: "When evangelism is retooled as recruitment, then marketing strategies for making Jesus attractive to consumer spirituality begin to proliferate. Words or aspects of Jesus that carry unwelcome connotations are suppressed. We emasculate Jesus."  He becomes subject to our control complying with our standards. Mark Galli, author of "Jesus Mean and Wild: The Unexpected Love of an Untamable God." , calls this kind of god, "nothing but an idol."
     Often confrontational, Jesus was anything but a people pleaser. In fact, the Pharisees hated Him because He was constantly revealing the truth about them and their motives. Then the chief priests, the teachers of the law, and the elders, "looked for a way to arrest Him because they knew He had spoken the parable against them/"......
      Mark 12:1-12. "And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled. And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some. Having yet therefore one son, his well beloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way."

   Jesus knew perfectly well what tough love meant, He showed it whenever necessary, and He did it unapologetic.  He was not afraid of what other people might think of Him. People called Him mad, demon-possessed, a fraud, and worse. But none of this stopped Him, because Jesus was neither weak nor a people pleaser.

 A TIME TO SUBMIT.

     THERE is definitely some truth to our traditional perception of Jesus. He truly was meek. HE did not lack power, HE surrendered it. He did so in order to bring glory to the Father. On the night He was arrested  [(j.b.) and tried seven times, enduring 7 trails in total] , He told Peter to put away his sword, saying......
     Matthew 26:52-54. "Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?"
     Jesus did not lay down His rights in every circumstance. During His trails, instead of offering His other cheek......
     Matthew 5:39. "But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."
     Instead He asked......
     John 18:22-23. "And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?  Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?"
    Yet He accepted the cross and its excruciatingly painful and shameful death, with perfect submission.[(j.b.) we always see these pictures as having covered loins, but they were fully naked, and bowels and bladders emptied]
     BECAUSE, He was permanently connected to His Father, Jesus knew when to submit and when to stand up, when to bless, and when to curse. His insight was so keen that His enemies were intimidated from questioning Him further.

    NO CONTRADICTION.

    THE conclusion is that Jesus is both meek and mighty. [ (j.b.) just as He is both human and Divine, but never used His divine powers for His own use, always to heal others. that's the reason for this......
     Philippians 2:6. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:" ]  There is no contradiction in this idea. We all need both aspects of His personality and or character. If we teach only Jesus' niceness, we create a fragile Christian, who wi9ll be afraid to make a stand for fear of offending someone. Paul Coughlin, author of "No More Christian Nice Guy," says that such Christians hide behind, "a distorted image of God to give their fear a spiritual glimmer."
    But a true understanding of Jesus' character allows for neither cowardice nor a victim mentality. Rather, the truth about Jesus sets u8s free to glorify Him with a strong character that chooses when to be submissive and when to stand our ground.
    WE need the gently Jesus, meek and mild, yes, but we also need the Jesus who is bold and strong.
