WHEN SIN-SINNERS -DEATH ALL-----

-----Have been destroyed, at the end of the Millennium, the fires, that engulfed all earth, consuming them and make purify the earth, it will erase all trace and evidence of sin, and human pollution, as well. Then God will RE_CREATE earth as He intended at the beginning, and the whole earth will become EDEN!

    2 Peter 3:10-13 " But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."

       Revelation 21:5 " And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."

   In this earth made new, people will find many reasons for joy, delights that are beyond our comprehension here for....

    

    1 Corinthians 2:9  "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

    Isaiah 64:4 " For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."

   Though we cannot imagine in the slightest the glories that God has prepared for His redeemed, the Bible offers a surprising amount of information about His eternal Kingdom.

WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE?

    We will have dwellings prepared for us by Jesus, in  the house of His Father-----

    John 14:1-3 " Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

  Plus we shall----

    Isaiah 65:17  "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

    Isaiah 65:21-22  "And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands."

   With minds that are no longer benumbed by sin, nor limited by time, we all shall be in a position { all the Saints] to investigate the wisdom of the Universe that is without stain or spot!

   The pain  and the sadness that we deal with every day will no longer exist because----

    Revelation 21:4-5 " And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"

      Just think of it! No more crime, injustice, death or illness, as many say, "No More Aids, seeing, chewing, walking, hearing, aids, ever, for anyone!" No more Md's, funerals, nor grave yards, or mortuaries, ever again! No more police, nor courts, jails or lawyers ever!  We will forever have those we love close to us, even The Father and The Son!

     The corruption in nature caused by sin, shall be no more, and our physical bodies shall be forever young and mature, all vegetation shall be evergreen, and nothing shall ever die!  LOOK------

     Isaiah 65:25  "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

  The New Jerusalem, which by then will have been set upon this earth,.....

   

    Revelation 21:2  "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

    Revelation 21:23  "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

    .Revelation 22:2  "In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

Note: We are not told if The Tree of Life, is the very same one that Adam and Eve ate from or that God destroyed it and created anew one in Heaven! But we shall have one nevertheless!

   God's people will not get tired nor be in need of  nightly, sleep.

FACE TO FACE WITH GOD!

    But beyond any material gratification that we will receive as heirs of His Kingdom, will the the supreme privilege of direct communication with both the The Father and The Son plus The Holy Spirit!-----

      1 Corinthians 13:12  "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

     From the book "The Great Controversy" P. , 678----

       

    "And the years of eternity, as they roll by, will bring richer and greater and still more glorious revelations of God the father and God the son. As our knowledge increases, so will our love and reverence and happiness increase. The more men learn of god, the greater will be their admiration of His character become. As Jesus opens before us the riches of redemption and the amazing achievements in the great controversy with Satan, the hearts of the ransomed thrill with more reverence and fervent devotion, and more rapturous joy, they sweep the harps of gold and ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of voices will unite to swell the mighty chorus of praise."

    "The work of redemption will be complete. In the place where sin abounded, God's Grace much more abounds.. The earth itself, the very field that Satan claims as his own, is to be not only ransomed but exalted. Our little world, under the curse of sin the one dark blot in the glorious Creation, will be honored above all other worlds, in the Universe of God. Here, where The Son of God tabernacled in humanity; where the King of Glory lived, and suffered and died,--- here, when He shall make all things new, the Tabernacle of God shall be with men, and they shall be His people, and He shall our God, and dwell with us. And through the endless ages as the Redeemed walk with their LORD, they will praise Him for His unspeakable Gift, EMMANUEL, 'God with us' "

# 27 IN SERIES. The Millennium AND THE END OF SIN.

THANKS TO Signs of the Times special 03/2016 issue "WE BELIEVE".   JB.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION,

  tells all of a one-thousand - year period of time, that Bible students call "The Millennium." This word id NOT found in the Bible. It comes from the two Greek words, "MILLE,"  meaning "One Thousand," and "ANNUM" meaning " a year"  Referring to this passage----

    Revelation 20:2  "And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

    The time frame of this 1,000 years, is by far, the most easiest to determine, because of the unmistakable bookends. It begins on the day that Christ returns in His Second Advent, and the Resurrection of the Just, and it ends with creation of the Lake of Fire ----

   

    Revelation 20:10-11  "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them"  [Rev. 19:20. Rev.20: 14-15.].]

Note: Brimstone is sulfur and it burns at over 2,000 degrees F. Thus death is instantaneous, for most, but for Satan, upon whom Jesus will place ALL sins upon him, that will also be burned up! Punishment will be for ever, in its results, but not forever punishing! [God would have to give all evil-doers, eternal life just to keep on punishing them, does THAT, sound like a God, that so loves the world that He sent His Son Jesus to died for our sins?"...look....

    Malachi 4:3  "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts."

NOTE: Please ask yourself, "IF... if YOU are one of the saints, {I hope you are] can you see your self walking among the flames just to walk upon Satan's ashes? Or -----

    Jude 1:7 " Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire".

Note: Are these 7 cities and towns still burning today? After all it says Eternal Fire right?  Biblically in this application the word eternal, means men can't put the fire out, and it will burn ONLY as long as it's job is to last, no more fuel, no more fire!  Never allow men to deceive you go to the Word for truth!

     Another false teaching in most churches,at least those who DO NOT insist the members actually study the Bible,  is that there are TWO RESURRECTIONS!

      The FIRST RESURRECTION at the Second Coming of Christ, are the JUST! The second resurrection is for all the rest, a 1,000 years latter.----

     Revelation 20:4-6  "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

Note: The SECOND shall be exclusively for the wicked! Who shall come out of the graves with the same age and infirmities and illnesses they died with! Unlike the Just who will resurrect  with A glorious Body as is Jesus' and be a youthful adult, forever!  By the way, those who "Pierced Him at the Cross?------

   John 19:37  "And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced."

    Revelation 1:7  "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."

Note: All those who Nailed Jesus to the Cross, or shoved in a spear, will also see Him and perish again thus shall perish three times! Because they Murdered the Sin Bearer!

RESURRECTION OF THE RIGHTEOUS.

   These are the two resurrection that Jesus spoke about when He said, ----

      John 5:28-29  "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

   We can know this first Resurrection happens because of----

       1 Thessalonians 4:14-18  "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words"

     Thus, there can no question the millennium will begin with the second coming of Jesus, since that is the time when the righteous living, and the righteous dead will be resurrected, and will join Jesus in the clouds, just as Jesus had promised near 2,000 years ago!----

     John 14:1-3 " Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

      During this time the just shall be with Jesus and The Father-God, for the 1,000 years, and they will judge-----

    Revelation 20:4  "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, [ during the Dark Ages of persecutions from AD 100 to 1798 A.D. ] and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; [ Revelation 13] and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." 

 Where will the wicked be, during the time their cases are being examined? They will be dead, {both in the graves, and not buried on this earth, in fact the wicked humans and angels will not ever leave this earth!]

  The righteous only will be raised to eternal life condition [ 1 Corinthians 15:50-55] at Christ's return, thus making it plain that the millions of people who are not saved, {note: DUE to their own personal choices because they chose to reject Christ!]  , who died at His return, and those during the ages past, will all remain in the ground or sea, until the second Resurrection at the end of the 1,000 years!

   The living, at that time, wicked ones will perish due to His power and glory, as sin can not live nor exist is His presence!----

    Jeremiah 25:33 " And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground."

     2 Thessalonians 2:7-12  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Note: Because they refused to receive the love for the TRUTH! God allowed them to be deceived by Satan;'s lies, and because they had pleasure in doing evils things!

    Revelation 19:11-21  "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

Note: At His return all the wicked who reject HIM will perish, and their bones picked clean by birds of prey as Satan will not bother to dig graves for them! Most living then will be lost! All due to selfish Pride, of living life their way!

SATAN BOUND.

  This helps us to understand why the Bible says that Satan will be "bound" during the 1,000 years. Since the day he tempted Eve, and Adam i n the garden of Eden, he has spent time deceiving us humans and causing us to sin But with the righteous in heaven after Christ Second Coming, and the wicked all dead Satan will have none to deceive thus he is "chained' by circumstance.....

    

    Revelation 20:1-2  "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

  This chain is symbolic, not literal, just as in our case case, when we wish to go someplace, but can't because "Our hands are tied."

Note:  The Bottomless pit, There can be no such thing unless there's a hole right through the planet right?. The Greek word here is Abusos, where we have out abyss from.  

    When Jesus comes, the earth will be reduced to chaos as the results of the previous events of water turning to blood and with  boils on the unjust, plus earthquakes, storms and human violence.

      Isaiah 6:11 " Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,"

      Isaiah 24:1 " Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof."

      Jeremiah 4:23-27 " I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end."

     Revelation 16:18-20  "And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found."

Note: The above verses shows what shall be earth's condition after the Second Advent! Thus the earth will become as it was in Genesis 1:1-2. Tuhu VA Buhu,  (SP?) desolate and formless and empty. Satan and his fallen angels will have the full 1,000 years, without sunlight, nor light of any king, reflect on the ruin he caused bringing sin into this world, and by Adam's surrender to his will by his disobeying God, Adam surrendered earth to Satan ruler ship. Yet Satan will not change, his ways nor his thinking.
    In fact, at the moment of the end of the 1,000 years, when God resurrects all the unjust and wicked ones, he, Satan will again deceive them into believing that HE, Satan resurrected them, and lea where he will attempt to eat from the Tree of Life, as will all his own.and them to surround the The Holy city New Jerusalem. They will attempt to take by force what was offered to them for free.through Christ Jesus, Whom they all rejected!

THE RESURRECTION OF THE WICKED.

    At the end of the Millennium Satan will be "Released" from his prison-----

    Revelation 21:1-2  "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"

     .Revelation 20:7-8  "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."------

      Ezekiel 39:11  "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog."

Note: As usual men have allowed their imaginations to run wild in print and Pulpits on this topic, and as usual they are not following the word of God.-- [ mentions in the O.T. but only once in the New, above: 1 Chronicles 5:4; Ezekiel 38:2,3,14,16,18,; 39:1, and 39:11 above].  

    Sorry all you rumor mongers, but this final battle is God's battle in the which He will----

     

     Revelation 20:9  "And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

-------   WHY? Why will Satan, the devil try to muster his deceived ones into the final battle/ when he knows he had zero chance of success?  In a word ego, and belief in self, not ever dampened after a life-time for him of failures against Jesus Christ, after the New Jerusalem sets down on the very location of earth, that was promised to Abraham, so long ago. [ Numbers 34,] [ area given is about a square of 375 miles, making it a cube]-------
     Revelation 21:16 " And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal."   {furlong is one-eighth of a mile, or 1,500 miles around,or 375 miles per side.]

   But of course their attack shall fail. Fire from God will consume Satan and his vast host------

    Revelation 20:10 " And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

Note: for ever and ever, sorry this means just as in Sodom, the fire will burn only as long as the "JOB" lasts! What happens when the no more "Fuel" for the fire to burn? It goes out! As this will also!

Note: QUESTION, can ashes burn? When we cremate a a person, do they still live and feel pain?  NO they are dead, and beyond pain of feeling or knowing anything!, DEAD IS DEAD! No Part of us lives beyond death, until God's resurrection, period, anything else is from the Devil!

Note: This is the condition for Satan and company of fallen angels for the next 1,000 years on this earth, with no light of any kind! The Bible is NOT written in a chronological order, that's why we must search and properly divide it.
   
     2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

CLEANSING THIS EARTH.

    Thus the universe, will be cleansed of sin and death!  Satan and all who followed him, even by staying neutral, they have rejected the savior, and followed Satan, the deceiver. to destruction. Then God, will re-Create Eden over this entire earth,------

      2 Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness"

      Revelation 21:5 "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."

Note: For the very first time in human history we shall see, with our own eyes, God Creative Powers at work!  So when an evolutionist tells us how life began or earth, it is ONLY a human assumption, nothing more!

THE BIBLICAL TEACHINGS,

about the Resurrection and the condition of human beings in death is full of hope!

   We have no need, when at the loss of a loved one,  while, we are hurting, thus we have little need to take the words of men, and their silly Satanic notions of a ever punishing hell, No wonder The Bible's Author saw fit to have this written----

      1 Thessalonians 4:13-14  "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."

As well as this:      John 14:19  "Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also."

NOTE: ALL, who believe and accept Christ in loving obedience shall live again after death, via HIS RESURRECTION at the time of His Return! That's according to the Bible, an d not as many apostates teach! If anyone knowingly teaches falsely, look at -----

     2 Peter 2:1  "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

   We Seventh day Adventists differ from the majority of "Christians", in their understanding what happens during the time of our death and the Resurrection. We believe what the Bible teaches,  and not what many men teach. 

NOTE: This way is much safer, agree?

  We believe in the unity of the Person  [Genesis 2:7]  and in the impossibility of a conscious existence apart from the body. There's absolutely no basis nor foundation there will a reunion of the body and the soul, that was somehow separated at death!

    In both the Hebrew and the Greek, there is no words that are translated as "SOUL" in English, simply means the living person---Gen. 2:7, "...God breathed into his nostrils and man became a living soul."

AT DEATH then is simply the reverse, our last breath returns to He who created us, and we return to the dust of the earth, from whence we came!

    Men, do err, in thinking that man have an ETERNAL SOUL, only God has immortality until Jesus Returns for His elect! The bible teaches that mankind as a living being is a soul, and when that living soul, the human being stops breathing death takes us! It is the reverse of  OUR, Creation!

     Ecclesiastes 9:5 " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."

THE BIBLE C ALL OUR DEATH "A SLEEP".

     John 11:11  "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep."

Note Please read this account of Lazarus, who by the time Jesus got there, he was dead four days, yet Jesus did not say COME DOWN, nor COME UP, but COME OUT! Now if as many teach, he was in heaven, for 4 days, why was he still bound up in his funeral wraps? No knives or scissors in heaven? Would YOU be a happy camper if you were in heaven for 4 days and suddenly found your self in your old worn-out body, here on earth again?  THINK! SELAH!

Plus, if all the just are resurrected at death to heaven why is written, in many places that Christ will resurrect all His own at His return, and why the need to return?  Biblical ignorance is the only explanation is it not? Willful or otherwise!

      Please allow reality to seep into Y O U when I ask this question:  "IF, and only IF, God takes us to heaven at our death, speaking of the just, only, how would they feel, and how could they be blissfully happy when they can see all the pain and suffering all, including their own loved ones, still fighting for survival on earth?

Note: That's not the Bible's telling us about life in heaven for His own now is it?  Is it Satan, that is constantly feeding us disinformation, lies, and, deceptions? THINK for your selves and not the "ONE VERSE CHARLIES" at the Pulpits!

Please know, the Bible says nothing, about a CONSCIOUS SOUL, nor of a SPIRIT that can survive the death of a body, but it does say much about life after death.It affirms that death comes to all, both the just and the unjust, alike. But it describes a future that is vastly different for each member of each group!

      John 5:28-29  "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

   After "resting," in the dust, until the resurrection by Jesus, the dead shall live again to receive the results of the choices they have made, in their life. Those who have accepted Christ's offer in---

     John 3:15-16  "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"

----- will receive the gift of immortality---[ 1 Corinthians 15:50-55.] Those who have chosen to reject this offer, leaves God, who loves them enough to give them what they desire, a total  separation, from the Sustainer of Life itself The Father-God!. Thus they can NOT continue to receive the gift of life, from God, and they shall forever perish, in the Second Death, for it is final!  WHY?

      Revelation 20:14-15  "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Sin began with Satan[ REV.12] AND with him reduced to ashes, he shalt never more be! Thus the final end of sin! Sin being the transgression of the Law of God's Ten Pillars!

God can not, and will not permit sin nor selfishness [are not both the same thing?] to exist in the coming perfect universe!

THE RESURRECTION:

    At the Second coming of christ, the saints of ALL ages will each receive their inheritance all at the very same time...

     1 Thessalonians 4:16-18  "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.""

   On the Resurrection morning each one of God's own will be a new Creation. Yhey shall receive the same Glorious Body that christ arose with fron His tomb, near 2,000 years ago. Each will still recognise their loved ones and friends will do the same , those who will walk Heavens streerts shall be the same ones who walked upon this earth. It is comforting that God will preserve out identity and character we had going into the grave, but coming out will be a new forever lasting body.

   Song of Solomon 8:6  "Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame"

Note Death is the enemy of both God and man! Becuse it robs the life of those He loves, YOU ans Me!

  We therefore consider death to be our enemy, but one that's not to be feared! We confront it confidently, committing ourselves to our loving Heavenly Father, and our older Brother Jesus, whose victory over the grave is also ours to claim in Jesus!.

A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

    An Adventist who discovered that he was the victim of an incurable disease, illustrates this kind of confidence or better known as FAITH/TRUST. When he wrote to a close family member this: "Last Tuesday, the original diagnosis was confirmed. As you can well imagine, it was difficult to accept, but I know that everything will turn out OK. God can work miracles. That night, my wife and I had a long serious talk and together we faced everything about this situation realistically for the first time. Sometimes I think that God tests the fervor of mourn prayers so that we can examine our faith. It doesn't matter what happens. Time is very short for anything to do with this earth. It occurred to us to compare our situation to a father who tells his little son that's it's time to go to bed. The child may object and say he wants to stay up a little longer, but the father says, m"Son, tomorrow will be a better day, a day in which you can play as you would like."

    "if that is what god is telling me, why should I question His wisdom?"

Note: (JB) God KNOWS the future, and perhaps He sees things that may hit us far worse than our demise!

The word seven appears 331 X in OT, and 74 times in N.T. or 404 times total. From Adam and Eve, to the now is close to 6,000 years,add another 1,000 years after Christ's return for the Millennium and we are at 7 thousand, There are no errors nor co-incidents in God's Word!. And none is able to seek forgiveness and repent from the grave, so why not today? Or are you will to be "Blotted Out", as if never even existed? No legacy in that is there? Besides your Father in heaven and I want YOU there!

FROM THE BEGINNING....

OF OUR EXISTENCE AS PEOPLE,  SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS, have sung songs about the "Blessed Hope", of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ-----

      Titus 2:13-14 " Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

     As the second half of our denomination name suggests, we expect Christ's coming to be a LITERAL EVENT.  We believe for it is written in His Word as such, that Jesus shall return  in Triumph surrounded by His Holy Angels, we are a happy people, and our songs reflect that joy!

     The reason Jesus will return is that He loves us as His Brothers and Sisters, and wants us to be with Him and His Father. Forever. As He spoke to his own----

    John 14:1-6  "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me"

  Jesus will take all His faithful ones with Him to Heaven at that time-----

NOTE: Many have been taught, that at death we go to our reward, right, so why then does the Bible tells us in more than several places, that Jesus will come to get us, when men say we are already THERE?

   Whose lying?

------  He returns to change those who are living at the time [1 Corinthians 15:50-55] , to immortal beings, and Resurrect the Just from the graves of the dead! Again in opposition to what the Bible speaks. So who other than Satan is always in opposition to God and His Word? The men who serve Satan!

   1 Thessalonians 4:15-18  "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

    This is the moment when ALL earthly powers and dominions shall cease to be, including all the Churches! As predicted in Daniel chapter 2 ending. Since History has recorded and confirmed that all of the other parts of this Prophecy in chapter two has been fulfilled, there can be no doubt in any thinking mind, that God's kingdom will be established as foretold!. 

SIGNS OF JESUS' COMING.

     While no one but God, knows the actual time of the Second coming, it is possible to know through a study of the Prophecies and the signs of His return, that it is near, "Right at the door"..

     .Matthew 24:32-33  "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors"

Note: "...when you see all these things..what things?  Read ALL of Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 to ID ALL these things!

     There will be sign in the heavens and on earth.....

    .Matthew 24:29 " Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken"

NOTE: The TRIBULATION? The Church of Rome had pretty much quit: it's Terror and torture tactics, of "Believe as I say, or die"!, and many millions did die  but Napoleon's army removed the Pope, in 1798 and made the church only a church and not a ruler of a nation, which since 1929 it is a 104 Acre Nation  yet again!   {Wikipedia Lisbon Earthquake Saturday 1 November 1755 est to be *.5-9 on the scale. Lisbon alone 20,000 lost total unknown from England-Ireland and North Africa over 200,000 lost life.] 

      Matthew 24:7 " For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."

Note: "....sun shall be darkened.."    New England's Dark Day of 1780 when the chickens went to roost before noon because it was so dark, a day without light.but in 1833 there was a Meteor shower so long and so bright that people could read the newspapers a midnight!...

     Revelation 6:12-17  "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

     Mark 13:24-25  "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken."

    Mark 13:29" So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors."

    Plus this......Matthew 24:13-14 " But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

Note: Not all have heard the Good News, yet today.

         2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

Note: using the above information please know that Jesus died and left this earth only just 2 days ago, and that Adam and Eve were created new only 6 days ago in God's sense of time!

   The Apostle Paul predicted the rise of the antichrist.....

     1 John 4:3  "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

NOTE: "..even now already in the world!" This book is thought to have been written by 90 .AD.Thus the Roman church was already well established for many years prior.to this writing of John!

   2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Note: who claims to "Sit on this Throne", as God?

     "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty." Pope Leo XIII ,In his Encyclical Letter of June 20, 1894.

  Note: I thank them for their honesty, but not the Blasphemy! 

The we have James Christ's half brother, via Mary, wrote this----

     James 5:1-7  "Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabbath. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain."

     In addition to being a "Watchman", we should also be sure to learn all we can about His return because---

    Matthew 24:3-5  "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

WHAT WILL HIS RETURN BE LIKE?

   Jesus' coming will be PERSONAL:

    

    Revelation 1:7  "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."

    Acts 1:11  "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven"

    .1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 " Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." [ Matthew 24:30; 26:64. Mark 13:26; 14: 62. Jude 1:12]

Note: If you dear reader, will read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 you will learn that Satan will show up first in a visible to us body, and be walking upon this earth. HOWEVER, our Savior's feet will not, at this time, touch this earth, thus we shall be flown up by our guardian angels, to meet Jesus in the air, and clouds! Satan will not be allowed to copy that!

   Christ's Second Coming should not be confused with his being here in Spirit with us nor confuse this with the Holy Spirit, for HE is the 3rd part of the Full Godhead, as Christ's representative, [John 14].

Jesus' return will be very visible  [Matthew 24:26-27]------

  Matthew 24:26-27  "Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

    1 Thessalonians 4:16  "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

NOTE: From the above verse, it's plain that it will not be a silent event! Thus it can NOT be a SECRET RAPTURE now can it?

Jesus' Second Coming will be Glorious

    Matthew 24:27-28 " For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together"

Note: Eagles should be Vultures, For as He returns all will have already been judged, and those judged not worthy of heaven will instantly perish, while the just are taken to heaven, the birds that eat carrion will have their feast, as Satan and his fallen angels will not bury them! You see only those with Christ will  leave this earth Satan and all his will not ever leave it! But shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, Revelation 19+.

However, ALL are God's children and He loves them so much, that He will not ever Force them to do, or live in ways they want not to live or do!. But all MUST know this, HE is the very source, of life, and HE Sustains  life, and if HE withdraws that power from us, we perish!

"Lift up the Trumpet, and loud let it ring, Jesus is coming again!" Cheer up Ye pilgrims, by ye joyful and sing Jesus is coming again!"

#24 in series. CHRIST'S MINISTRY in The HEAVENLY SANCTUARY.

IN BOTH THE OLD AND THE NEW,

Testaments, the Sanctuary is presented as the place where God dwells. Sometimes He chooses to dwell in the one or the other. As the Psalmist put it, under the influence of the Holy Spirit,----

   Psalms 102:19-20 "For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;"

 Then Habakkuk was led to write this----

   Habakkuk 2:20 " But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence [ hold your tongue] before him."

    The NEW Book repeatedly speaks of a Temple in Heaven in fact in----

    Hebrews 8:2  "A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man."

     It is defined as---
 
     Hebrews 9:11  "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;"

    Where Jesus serves as OUR High Priest----

    Hebrews 8:1-2  "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.{"

    In vision John was shown in Revelation of Jesus Christ---

    Revelation 11:19  "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."
 
NOTE (JB) Hail stones mentioned weighing one talent- or about 55-70 pounds! That shall fall upon the wicked during the times of troubles.

   Revelation 8:3-5  "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake."

   He was also shown the the Holy Beings that serve God in the Temple---



    Revelation 7:15 " Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them" [ Rev. 14:15; 15:5-8; 16:17.]

In the above verses see the smoke filled Temple and in a later scene he hears----

     Revelation 16:1  "And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth."

THE EARTHLY ILLUSTRATES THE HEAVENLY.  

    In  order to better understand all that is related to the Heavenly Sanctuary and Christ's ministry there as our High Priest, it is most helpful to understand the earthly sanctuary that Moses helped build according to the model that God showed him---

      Exodus 25:8-9  "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it."

   It is the "Greater" and more perfect Sanctuary," [Hebrews 9:11] In the same way, Christ's ministry is superior in every way , to the earthly Priests. The Book of Hebrews stresses this point repeatedly. However, it seems clear enough that the design of both Sanctuaries is similar, and the services in the earthly can reveal fundamental truths about the Heavenly one. 

     In olden times, the Priests carried out their daily tasks, the work of intercession in the Holy Place,

{The whole unit was surrounded by a white linen fence , with but one "GATE", into the COURT YARD, which held the Sacrificial Alter and fire, and just before the Tabernacle {means TENT}was the Large Lavern for washing feet and hands of the Priests before entry into the Tabernacle itself, The Holy Place was the FIRST COMPARTMENT holding the Shew Bread on its Table, the eight lights of the CANDLE_STICK, and the Alter of Incense, whose fire must not ever go out. The to the VEIL into the Most Holy compartment which held the Ark of the covenant and upon which was the Mercy seat. which was entered only ONCE A YEAR on the day of Atonement. (at-one-with)  Please read Exodus 25 and 26 chapters.  

   In the same as as His counter-parts, of old Jesus entered  upon His intercessory ministry as our great High Priest at the time of His Ascension. A careful Study of Daniel 8 and the 9th chapters, shows that that in 1844 Christ began the final phase of His ministry in the heavenly Sanctuary, which corresponds to the earthly Day of Atonement, An Celestial Being said to Daniel in vision--- 

     Daniel 8:14 " And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."

     The 2,300 days/years   Ezekiel 4:6  "And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."

    Numbers 14:34  "After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. "

Therefore is arrived at the one day for one year principle, with the Hebrew year having 360 days. We must remember that this prophecy timeline is but one unbroken time frame with the separated time frames within the overall time set by God Himself!

NOTE: Many a person teaches that this "SEVEN days" [Daniel 9:27} is taken out from this sequence and placed as SEVEN YEARS, of a reprieve of the sinners, AFTER Jesus has returned and taken His Own with Him to Heaven! This IS NOT BIBLICAL! PERIOD., thus it 's from Satan!

    Daniel 9:27  "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

| <  27AD Christ's baptism/begin Ministry >| < 31 AD died at the Cross >| < 34 AD Stephen stoned, the gospel to the gentiles!  This is the 7 years/7 days, one half of which is what 3.5 years right?

Matthew 24 4"..... Jesus said... " Take heed..Let no man deceive you"

    The start date by a decree by King Artaxerxes took place in  457 B.C. {from Daniel 9:25, this decree is found in Ezra 7: 12-13 in the fall of that year of 457 B.C. take in account a ZERO year between BC and AD. with the knowing that Christ was born in august of 4 B.C not 0 A,D. (Luke 3:1 the 15th year of Tiberius was 27 AD as prophesied Jesus was baptized and began His ministry

NOTE: now how the Bible proves itself within itself?

WHAT HAPPENED IN 1844?

    Well, the Holy Bible is not silent, yet neither does it give much in the way of events for that year beyond---

     Daniel 8:14  "And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. "

     From the texts concerning the earthly cleaning we know this event was place on The Day of Atonement, and its removing of sins and the cleansing of the Sanctuary. we know from----

    "  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these."

Note: Romans 6:23. "The wages of sin is death......"    They why Christ's blood was shed on the Cross for us all!

     The earthly Day of Atonement was the most solemn day, because the Hebrews considered it to The day of Judgment. During this day the people were to abstain from their ordinary labors and afflict their souls. {Honest look inwards}Those who refused to do this were cut-off from the people..

      ..Leviticus 23:27-32  "Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath."

    In view of the fact that the earthly was but a copy of the original Heavenly Tabernacle, {Hebrews 8:5} it's reasonable to take and conclude that Jesus, the ONE TRUE High Priest completed His work in Heaven on behalf of the Repentant sinners on earth,.HE will at that time return to earth the Second time! He'll have cleansed the Books {records of us all} This work implies SEPARATION of His true believers and those who make but a mere profession of religion, this is sometimes called "The Investigative Judgment", a term not found in the Bible, but all the elements of such a judgment are in the Bible: the names of the accused, the books of record, the Judge, the angel assistants, a sentence etc. [See Exodus 32:32. Daniel 7:9-10 Philippians 4:3, Revelation 3:5; 20:12, 15; 22:11-12,19] This judgment work MUST be completed BEFORE Jesus can return because----

     Revelation 22:12  "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

     Compare the above verse with the next.

     

     Romans 2:5-11 " But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;  But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:  For there is no respect of persons with God.

Note No respect of persons...to all we are equal in His eyes!

THE FIRST ANGEL'S MESSAGE.

   Given the fact that the "Cleansing", of the heavenly Sanctuary suggests a work of Judgment, and because according to Daniel 8:14 this judgment will begin at the conclusion of the 2300 days/years, the message of the first angel of Revelation 14 has a special significance for us today. For this message states in part, "Fear God, and give Him glory, for the hour of His JUDGMENT HAS COME."  [Vs 7} Italics added. It is impossible to exaggerate the seriousness of this time of judgment since when the heavenly tribunal completes its work, Jesus will return and take to heaven with Him, all those who obey in love God's commandments and remained faithful to Jesus.....

    Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

     When properly understood, the doctrine of the Heavenly sanctuary is a cornerstone of the christian Faith.. It exalts the living Christ, as our Great Attorney and High Priest. It declared that God;s Ten Commandment law is the Standard for the Judging of the human character. It reveals that our own period of history is most singular and solemn shows that God is both merciful and Just in the way He treats His Created Beings and solves the problem of sin. As a result of the work of Judgment carried out in the Heavenly Sanctuary, every question, doubt, or reservation about god and the way He treated Satan will be answered, and the Redeemed will join in a grand a glorious song, :Great and Marvelous are your deeds, Lord god Almighty, Just and true are your ways, King of the ages" [Revelation 15:3]

#23 in Series: MARRIAGE and the FAMILY. Signs of the Times "WE BELIEVE" 3/2016.

MY MANY THANKS FOR THEIR EFFORTS.   JOHN B [JAYBEE].

IN SPITE OF THE FACT----

 that most couples on their wedding day, look forwards to a long life together, yet divorces continue to increase, and some marriages are in divorce court, even before all the ceremonial bills have been paid!

    In spite of their high hopes and dreams, when new parents bring home their first child, from the hospital, some 70%  of parents told Ann Landers they would NOT have children if they had to do it all over again! Based on 10,000 parents, who answered her poll question.

     Are we not all shocked at a break-up of a home, parental abuse, even children abusing their parents, poor child care, and the disrespect between family members and the seemingly total lack of meaning full communications, that's not at the shouting levels!

    Marriage Councilors, Pastors and educators as well as psychologists all try to to offer possessive solutions to the family's problems, but all their advice is founded, and rightly so, on the Bible's Principles. After all, EVERY Principle mentioned in the word of God, whether specifically directed to the family, (such as the Golden rule), can and should be applied to the family unit!

Note: in my own family, and myself, what I see as one big problem is self, and extend the word to selfishness, as the greatest single family problem!......

   Ephesians 5:25 " Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; "

NOTE: The Church? That's all the collective believers! Yes it speaks to Husbands, but how can it not pertain to the wives? Is not love a two-way event, or should be? My wife and me have been ONE FLESH for soon to be 55 years! I love her more today than when we said "I do!"

SO, WHERE DID MARRIAGE ORIGINATE?

  The first RECORDED marriage was in The Garden of EDEN...

  

   Genesis 2:18  "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."

    Genesis 2:24  "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

Note: ONE FLESH?-----

        John 17:22  "And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:"

Note: Just as Jesus The God-Man, and The Father-God are of ONE purpose, so also must a Husband and his Spouse be of ONE purpose, to strengthen the family UNIT, and to both teach and raise their children!

NOTE: It for this reason and purpose that same sex is God's NO- NO! Because they can not by themselves reproduce themselves, therefore IF ALL humans followed the Homosexual lifestyle, humans would soon become extinct, thus against Nature itself! YET they also are God's children, and deserve our love and respect, but not for what they do, as with each one of us!

     Genesis 2:23-24  "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

    Ephesians 5:21-33  "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband."

NOTE: "Submitting self one to another..IN REVERENCE OF GOD! Marriage is God's institution, and none should attempt to alter it, beside how can men alter God's laws, in total reality?  But look what else is given----

     2 Corinthians 6:14  "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"

Note: "Falling in love" usually takes time, but the falling in lust is very quick, but that fire soon becomes ashes! In other words both people need to share the same faith, and this truth has been shown to work the best time after time! The Union between a believer and a non-believer nearly always results in great stress and more unhappiness on both partners, who try to compromise on one's principles and disagreements on how their children should be raised. It become one more can of gasoline tossed in the fire.

    God's plan for marriage is a home, that's stable and a permanent foundation that society can build upon--

    Matthew 5:31-32  " It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."

 Plus:[ Matt. 19:9; Mark 10:11-12; Luke 16:18.]

Note: Yes there have been divorces in our faith, and YES, both have waited to for the other ex to marry fist so they themselves were not guilty of fornication, or so they think!

    Mark 10:9  "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder"

Note: If your relationship has turned sour, ask in prayer for God to HEAL YOU, because marriage is a 50-50 deal, so each is half of the problem right? Remember when you the Husband first began courting her? Well do SO AGAIN!, a fire to keep burning needs new fuel, begin courting each other all over again! You are both still the same persons, when you POPPED THE QUESTION, hoping she would say YES, right?

So get some flowers and ASK HER AGAIN--- ON YOUR KNEES!   Who is willing to allow pride to stand in the way of happiness?

   Now, unless of sexual infidelity, adultery,----

     1 Corinthians 7:10-11  "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife."

Note: None is expected to remain in a marriage, that puts one in danger of life or health, this is what a desperation is for, to try to force the other party to fly-right!

INVITE JESUS CHRIST TO BE THE THIRD MEMBER.

    "in order that I might become closer to my spouse, bring me Father-God, close to You, than my Spouse. In order that I may love You more, and my spouse than anything in the world. So that nothing can come between us and may YOU dwell there close with us every single moment. In order that we may be always together, as one flesh, take us with YOU to the place of solitude. And when we find ourselves side-by-side, O Lord, may it be upon Your loving breast. Amen'

NOTE: If YOU are serious about your marriage, pray this prayer, and write it out for your spouse, and have him/her pray it with you together, or each in private! But be honest, as God can read your thoughts and heart/mind!

PARENTS AND CHILDREN.

   The Bible emphasizes the importance of parents, teaching their children to know the Lord and understand His commandments-----

      Deuteronomy 6:5-9 " And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."

Note: Frontlets---- the old Hebrew custom, of a thread from their head-gear ending a small ball of yarn that rested on the forehead above and between the eyes, as a constant reminder of God's Laws.

     Ephesians 6:4  "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

     Note: OK, all Fathers, who have not so taught your children, or those who have had no involvement with them, and at Judgment, Christ asks you what kind of a father were you to your children? What will you have so say?

   As the child learns to trust their earthly father, the children will learn to love and confide in God as their Heavenly Father!

  

    Matthew 23:9  "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."

    Ephesians 6:1 " Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right."

NOTE: is it possible to honor one who has no honor?  YES but it's very difficult yet child must.

    .Exodus 20:12  "Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee."

 NOTE: The 5th Commandment, and the ONLY one with a promise, of long life!

    Thus as both the Parents and their children open up their hearts to the Holy Spirit, harmony and love shall prevail in the home. The increasingly closer relationships one to another and to God through Christ, will they be a testament to the love and powers of God in the final Gospel and human unity that Christ prayed for-----

    John 17:23  "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."

     Malachi 4:5-6  "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

ALTHOUGH IT WAS WRITTEN...

in Roman times , the advice of the beloved disciple John is as important in this century, as it was in the first.

To all who heard God's call to live a better life, John wrote-----

     1 John 2:15-17 " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

Note: many believe that Satan does not exist, as none has ever seen him, so too neither does God exist, is their rationing will. But who pays attention to the fact that histories biggest murderers have all be atheists, who neither believe nor accept that God exists, such as Stalin, Hitler, Japanese Leadership, Mao, Pol-Pot, and that N. Korean murder dynasty, Kim whatever? Between them all they have caused more deaths in the 20th century than all the previous wars, i n total? Satan couldn't be happier!

   True Christian religion is much more than spending one hour a week in a church, it is very much a way of living this live, as our testing ground, and to prepare us to be worthy to share eternity with Jesus and the Father! For this to occur we must allow the Holy Spirit to rule our hearts, to change our character to be as Christ's! Thus a Christian life is all encompassing,  directing our choices in clothing, hair styles, no adornments required, God looks at the inside, we can look only on the outward, of a person, plus it guides and dictates our viewing habits, listening habits, and reading materials, as well as our diets! 

Note: Look at my "It's lifestyle choices not genes", that gives long life to us!

     2 Corinthians 10:5  "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

     Ephesians 5:1-3 " Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savoir. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;"

Note: In one segment of our population, the abortion rate is greater than the birth rate in New York city, that fount of Progressive Liberal thinking that would make Lenin and Marx proud!   [go to www.amazingdiscoveries.org, and on search bar type in "The Grinding Down of America" and hang on!  Please remember all those radical protesters, from the 1960's?They  are now our youth's teachers., Bill Ayers, Obama's friend, from the Weatherman Underground is but one!JB]

QUESTIONS ABOUT BEHAVIOR.

   Whether on the playing flied or entertaining themselves at home, the sincere Christian will soon get into the habit and ans ask, "Can I pray and ask God to bless this activity, strengthen me physically, mentally, and is this the very best use of my time? Or will it lead me astray Father from your will for me?. Will it honor You and me, or will this allow me to stray and forget about YOU? Or will it lower my resistance to temptation? Will it cause me to enter into a "dream world that will make it more difficult for me to resume my responsibilities?, Can I face death and Christ's Return peacefully while I am carrying out this activity?

   The honest answers to these questions will result in the avoidance of most T.V programming, and movies, most types of dancing, card games, and rock and Jazz music. All these have a proven negative influences uon most of us, and need to be replaced with all that is true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable----

     Philippians 4:8-9  "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

      Romans 12:1-2  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

       1 Corinthians 6:20 " For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's"

NOTE: Christ paid with His life and His live's blood to purchased you from Satan and paid for your sins!

      Ephesians 2:2  "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Note: Some deny the devil even exists, yet many others worship him. in point of fact Saul Alinski's  book , "Rules for Radicals, the one Progressives dearly love, has dedicated his book to Lucifer! Need more be said?

      We are to renew our minds, by allowing the Holy Spirit to do His work within us! When we allow this we will be able to do God's will, His good and pleasing and perfecdt will, for only for our own good!

CHRISTIAN GROOMING.

     God's will for us not only includes our pastimes but also in our personal appearances. He want men to look as men, and handsome and woman to be beautiful which is THE WHY He advises us to avoid anything artificial, that will actually cover up the TRUE  beauty He created. The Father advises the ladies, to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, and not with fancy braided hair, or gold or pearls or even expensive clothing.------

      1 Timothy 2:9-10 " In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefaced and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;  But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."

   In harmony with these principles both men and women, will avoid dressing only to keep in style. We will also avoid clothing that is designed to call attention to self, that is unnecessary,, or that which is to expensive.

Note: Ever notice that the less material are in a bikini bathing suit, the higher the price? Soon you'll see them reduced to corks and band-aids! And they will sell them! At at a high price!

     Christians will find their greatest satisfaction in wearing clothes that feel comfortable, well made, modest economical and appropriate for the occasion.Our wardrobe should always be simple, modest and clean, as well as in good taste.. As natural beauty, quality, and simplicity are the principles of God's Kingdom-----

      1 Peter 3:1-4  "Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear  [revere, reverence]. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."

PHYSICAL HEALTH.

    Good health in one of the most important  ways we all can improve our appearance. God's will for us that we "may be well------

     3 John 1:2 " Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

    Adventists stand out among Christians for their emphasis on health. Please know that in the Computer, lingo, we find the word "GIGO", an acronym for "Garbage in Garbage out"., yes Ice cream and chocolate bars are very tasty, but a diet that consists only of those two items, would soon put you under the care of the Medical Professionals!

     An in-depth study has shown that Adventists have 20% less lung cancers, 13 % fewer death for cirrhosis of the liver, and 48.6 % fewer deaths from all caused than the rest of the population. The results are that Adventist women live three longer and the men live six years longer than the general population!

     The Trappist Monks, who do not eat meat, have about one-fifth the heart diseases of the Benedictine monks, who follow a more typical diet.  Study after study , in many nations, all have shown that a Vegetarian diet can prevent 97 % of Coronary Heart Attacks! The World Health organization estimates that up to 85 % of all cancers, are the results of wrong eating habits!

NOTE: All have have new cars, do Y O U dear reader, rely on your Grocer for the care and feeding of your automobile? NO! You go to the maker, the one who built your car! Well,... DUH! The Father-God is the maker of  us all, as well as The Sustainer of life!-----

    Genesis 1:29-31  "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

NOTE: As it was before sin came to this earth, there WAS NO DEATH, even ALL the animals ate plants seeds and fruit! So Y O U say spiky teeth are for meat eaters? Look at the Fruit Bat,a  mouth filled with sharp spiked teeth but all they eat is fruit! No human can state other wise, as no records remain, therefore its all but speculation and human assumptions, of any facts outside the Bible, fossils can not show diet, that we can determine.

    Nutrition research, has shown over and over again,that the MOST healthful diet has limited sugars, animal fats,no added salt, less saturated fats, and more foods directly from nature, fruit, vegetables, nuts grains as less processed as possible. We say if it had a face and mother, do not eat it! This Adventists have followed as a whole for more than 100 years, nor do we use any tobacco, Alcohol, and harmful drugs. Plus we do our best to avoid caffeine, but they sneak it into SO MANY foods these days, it a crime! Thus we use no coffee, tea [ we do use herbal teas]   chocolate as both chocolate and caffeine, has been shown to hit the brain in the very same ways as does the Opiates, hit the "Feel Good" centers, but "revs up" our system, and then we let down, and want to get that Rev ed up feeling again! {NOTE: what happens to an engine that is running at full throttle all the time? It blows up! We just run down and fade away!

    1 Corinthians 10:31  "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."

   LACK OF EXERCISE in all probability, shorten the average life of north American men by as much as five years!!!

  THE BEST MOTIVATION.

     Most of us know that they should live healthier life-styles, but they lack the will-power, the 'INTERNAL FORTITUDE", if you will to make the needed changes even it it is proven to buy one more years of life, with good health!  But If you have learned to know your Heavenly Father and His Saving Son Jesus Christ, you will soon fall in love with both of them, and love is a great motivator, agree?-----

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20  "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

     Note The God-Man, Jesus Christ died for our sins,-- Romans 6:23" The wages os sin is death..."

Therefore because we are all sinner, thus all serve the father of sin Satan, Christ's death also "Purchased" us from Satan! Thereby we are HIS!

   John 10:10  "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Note: Satan is the thief, because accepting his lies and deceptions he steels your efforts to be fit for heaven's eternal life!

    However one reformation, without Jesus christ in your life, is but legalism, but christ without reform is mere sentimentalism. Divine wisdom affirms-----

    Proverbs 9:11  "For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased."

Note: THE ME above is none other than Jesus Christ!

    He gives us the wisdom and the will to eat healthy, live healthy thus a long and enjoyable life! As life without good health is but existing, right?
